The key is have patience. You haven't been running for very long and it won't happen overnight. I'm in c213k currently. I'm at week 11 and now can maintain 12 min mile. Thank you everyone! This was super helpful. All the studios in my area are super expensive so I'm going to start with some youtube videos and see how it goes. I have an aunt that lives in new york and when I visit her I go to her studio. I love the class environment. I wish i could find one for free!!! LOL nothing in life…

@ strawberrytoa - the app has the ablity to go into treadmill mode! So that way you can still get your interval updates. I run outside and on a treadmill. If you feel like you can run the intervals starting at week 4 then Great! If not I would start it from week one. It really helps you build endurance.

I have the android version of the app and LOVE IT!!! I can listen to music during my run and it will give me interval updates. Love the customization.

Yay Cookies!! I haven't had cookies in a long time and if i'm hiking I don't feel bad eating them. I was looking for stuff that would be good on the trail and not fall apart. I don't want squirrels or bears following me on the way to my camp site.

Thanks Hbm616! I am going to try these. I like making my own homemade cookies. I try not to buy store bought because I'll sit down and eat the whole package. If I'm at home I just make a couple of cookies and craving is satisfied with out effecting my hips :)

Well part of my problem is I have 15lbs of fat still to loose. So I think realistically the size 11 will fit better after that. I would like to be a size 8 again or at least single digits. It may not happen. I squeezed into some 10s the other day but it was super tight.

I'm on week one and I plan on doing day 3 three of week one tomorrow and I ran today. As long as your body isn't hurting you should be ok. Make sure you drink lots of water to stay hydrated to prevent injury.
