  • It's the daily mail. Enough said. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eBT6OSr1TI
  • That is lovely! Makes all the hard work with it xx
  • Ah that does make more sense! Thanks for taking the time to reply :)
  • I absolutely loooove it! I use it at the gym on the elliptical (can't run, ankle injury),when I'm walking to collect the kids from school- I shaved 7 mins off my time lol, and I listen to it on the rowing machine because I find it so boring usually. It's really motivating and thrilling if you allow yourself you get caught…
  • I prefer the class, I work harder because I want to keep up with everyone. I'm too lazy to do it at home!
  • According to this article, since I'm 70lbs over weight I should be exercising moderately because my body can't handle it... But I'm really quite fit, I do 3-5 Zumba classes a week (where I keep up with everyone else) as well as going to the gym before/after to do extra cardio and weights. I'm not sure if I like such a…
  • Skinny jeans and dresses that DON'T fit at the bust then float!!
  • I know, I wasn't expecting it, and fully expect it to slow down after this initial shock to my system.
  • I started lifting right away. This is only my 2nd week, I lost 4lb on my first and put 1lb on this week (TOTM), BUT I've lost 5" from my waist.... So I'm happy to ignore the scales :-D
  • I am ravenous just before TOTM and I want cheese, carbs and chocolate! I try to limit, but I also up the exercise to compensate. If I have a crappy day, I draw a line under it and start again the next day.
  • welcome back :)
  • Honey you need to stop and breathe! You will get to your goal because you have made the correct lifestyle changes. It might take a while, you might reach goal sooner than expected... What is important is that it will happen! The scales are the work of the devil really, I've lost 3lbs in total but 5" from my waist alone! My…
  • Sorry ladies, I just saw this. it's channels 281(active channel) 282(fitness channel- this one has the dvds on).
  • After Zumba I look like I'm just going to melt/ pass out/ internally combust/ all of the above! I'll try and take a picture tomorrow but the others may think I'm insane and I might chicken out!
  • On my tv (sky), there are a couple of channels that show exercise DVDs like Jillian Michaels, Kim Kardashian etc. Like it has been said, it depends on what kind of exercise you want to do!
  • well it certainly looks like its working for you :)
  • you look so much firmer and toned! What exercise did you do? Btw love your ticker, it made me smile (apart from the weight loss which is fab too!)
  • I love it too! It just makes me so happy lol, I feel grumpy when life gets in the way and I cant make a class or go to the gym. You can't beat that exhausted but content feeling and you know that you have achieved something by pushing yourself... Seriously it's addictive! I must add that I'm no gym bunny either, I'm 207lbs.
  • Well done, one of the best NSV's I've read on here so far. Keep it up x
  • Hi, I would suggest batch cooking and freezing if you can. you can use cheaper cuts of meat or use pulses in one pot meals such as stew or bolognaise etc... Really the key is being prepared, Im a full time student and single mum so I know how tiring it can get, but take the summer to get a head start and a useful routine :)

  • I can't answer your question... But I thought I'd reply and move it up the board for ya ;) Hope someone more knowledgeable can help
  • Yeah spacing my calories out works for me. I sometimes eat dinner around 7/8pm which obviously stops the munchies. If I do get hungry at night, I drink water and go to bed.
  • Amazing! Well done :-)
  • Great mindset, motivating! I would add; -everyone is here for the same reason -I deserve to be here because I'm actively changing my body for the better -everyone here will feel insecure about something, even slim people
  • I think it very much depends on the gym. Mine is at a council owned leisure centre and there are all sorts of people there from super fit gym bunnies to older people who have been referred by their doctor. When I go to the gym people barely look at each other, they are concentrating in themselves really. But when I go to…
  • Well done for getting on it! A lot of the time I don't feel like working out but after I make myself I feel amazeballs. Like a boss. Hope you do too :)
  • I think that reply you got was pretty damn rude actually, and completely unnecessary. Don't let it frighten you away, build up a support network by adding people as friends. I mainly only browse the message boards because there are a lot of rude, crude and opinionated people among the nice MFP users.
  • Feel free to add me too, I log in daily :)
  • I'm 207lbs and I burn about 800 cals an hour doing zumba classes (according to that site and using mod activity), but I feel like I want to die at the end and I NEED to shower after. I'm pretty fit even though I'm a big girl, I go to the gym and run for 30mins and either cycle or weight train for 20 mins BEFORE my zumba…
  • I cried like a baby! His determination was immense once he got started, really inspiring.
