I'm 5ft3 and when I've popped this sprog out (if only labour was really like that) I'll be aiming to get to 107-112lbs. (I'm small framed so look best at the lower end of normal.) I'm 28 weeks pregnant and am 140lbs currently. Not dieting, just eating healthily to keep my weight gain in the normal parameters.) It'll be a…

It seems a bit like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Babes are clever little parasites and will take everything they need from you….to the detriment of your own health if that's what it takes. So long as you are healthy and eat a wide range of foods I really wouldn't worry about your weight gain, as…

Hi, I'm Ali and I'm from Cambridgeshire. I have 2 boys and am pregnant with number 3 so I'm not actively trying to lose weight at the moment, but am logging for when I will want to lose the baby weight after he's born. (Form the habit before I have to start restricting.)

I'm 5ft3 and my calves are 14 inches.

That must be really annoying as all you're doing is trying to improve your health. You are an adult. Yes, if you live with your family you need to play by their rules, but there are ways around it. If your family are having pizza and you don't want any then you could get some ingredients and cook your own meal…or if you do…

I'm 5ft3. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and weigh 10stone/140lbs at the moment. Prior to this baby I was 9st7 and a size 8-10, but will be aiming for my pre-2nd baby weight that was between 7st 9/107lbs and 8stone/112lbs and a size 6-8. (My goal is purely for after I've had baby and finished exclusively…

Nothing. If I crave something then I'll sort my diary around it so it fits.

6 months of exclusively breastfeeding is worth FAR more than losing weight. ……..6 months…that's all it is. Don't diet before you start weaning (and even then start very, very slowly as baby still gets most it's nutrition from your milk.) It can affect the quality and supply of your milk and affect baby's health. The health…

…and yes…. Eat the pizza, log it, and then get on with your week. Pizza is good!

Phew…at least someone was here to set the world to rights. Not having muffins, indeed?! We do indeed have muffins but to us they are just muffins. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_muffin We also have crumpets….http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpets …..damn it, I'm hungry now and have neither crumpets OR muffins. :(

I want to stuff my face with steak. It's a wonderful craving but not really financially suitable! haha!

I'm "coping" by just keeping going. Unfortunately there's nothing more than paracetamol and a pelvic support band, plus regular physio that can do anything. If it gets really bad then you might have to use crutches, so I'm hoping it doesn't get to that point. I've been told to take it easy….erm with a 6 year old and a 21…

I generally snack on cucumber/carrot/bell pepper batons, breadsticks or rice cakes. Generally I'm bored and not actually hungry, and if I am then they'll tide me over until my next meal.

If you want bread then eat bread………no? As someone has already said, have a sandwich and enjoy!

I have an Oliver Malcolm, a Hugo Richard John and this baby will either be Rupert or Rufus Benjamin Peter (depending on who gets their way between husband and me) (I'm in the UK, if the names sound overly "classic")

You've not ruined your diet…you've had one bad day. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and think of tomorrow as a new day. One day of excess won't ruin your progress.

I find it easiest and most accurate to make a recipe adding the raw ingredients and how many portions I'm making. That way everything is exactly from what I put in, as my cooking will be slightly different every time I make it.

It it an American thing to measure with cups? I'm in the UK and have always used a scale, be it baking or cooking. I'd have never thought to measure ingredients with anything other than a pair of scales. (Then again "cups" as a measurement hasn't had very widespread use in the UK until very recently when it's started…
