  • Honestly the reason i've not tried it, soooo expensive. Thats why i asked. I wanted to hear from people who may have used it too. I just want to know as much as I can...Not a follow the herd kinda girl!
  • Thanks but that doesn't help! She is a great friend and knows how much PCOS has affected my life. She was offering something that she had heard success stories from. Symptom relief was the biggest thing talked about while using the triplex. The Slim is apparently is just where I would be recommended to start. Weight loss…
  • Hi all! I'm back to MFP after having baby #2. Baby 1 and I didn't have a long BF journey but this time i'm 5 months and going strong with this LO. I have PCOS and I work full time. Finding time Exercise is hard and i'm finiding it hard to lose and getting discouraged. The PCOS makes it hard to lose weight to begin with and…

  • Great Job loosing! I can say that i think why i finally got pregnant is some weight loss! Keep it up. It can never hurt to loose more right!
  • Things are above and beyond where they were when i miscarried. I don't have any bleeding like last time and i'm actually a little sick and have very sore breasts...all good signs as far as i'm concerned. I have my first prenatal appointment today to get they game plan but so far so good!
  • I have a One, which is just a glorified pedometer! I like it but really don't use it that much because i use my Polar when i'm working out! I would look into the newest FitBit they have called the Surge if you want to track heart rate. Its a continuous tracker from what i've read. They run about $250 right now!
  • So for me i really noticed a difference in my weight loss when i was on my metformin and took it consistently. I was put on Metformin to help with conceiving, but the weight managment really seemed to help as well!. I'm on 1000 mg a day. I try to eat as "clean" and unprocessed as i can, avoiding simple carbs.
  • I have a cheepy that i think is actually a biggest loser one i got from Bed Bath and Beyond. $20 i think. It does OZ and Grams and has a glass top that is removable. Perfect for what i need it to do. Also it is small enough that i can take it with me when i travel!
  • I have megga curly hair so shampooing everyday is a BIG NO NO, but I tend to look Chia Petish if I don't shower after I workout. I rinse and use a clarifying conditioner ever shower and use Moroccan oil on my hair to keep the curls nice. I honestly only use shampoo (which is actually a NOPoo) once a week.
  • Make the only thing available plain water. Eventually she will need to drink, and the only thing there will be water. I know it sounds harsh, but why cater to her need to flavor. I don't with my 5 year old, and that's why i don't have a picky child. He eats what is put in front of him, asks for carrots, broccoli and apples…
  • Just like it was yesterday! I was a freshman in college. I was getting ready for class when the first fell and at my boyfriends when the second fell. We sat on his couch all day long and watched them play it over and over. After that I remember worrying he would get called up to active duty, and about 3 months later I…
  • I have 1 furless child and 2 furbabies. While I'm not crazy enough to take a Christmas card photo of our family with them they are part of our family. They provide all the unconditional stinky love that we need! They are also both rescues so it is our way of making the world a better place!
  • Also try setting MINI goals for yourself! It will make that 100lb mark seem not so big. Start with 20lb or 10lb that way when you reach it you can see your progress in a positive way!
  • I think in combination with trying to loose weight you should go and talk to an OBGYN or a fertility specialists. You may also have another underlying issue beyond just your weight. I've got PCOS and because of it I have difficulty getting pregnant (we've been TTC for 3 years now) as well as loosing weight because of the…
  • Agree with what everyone else has said. The big drop is probably mostly water. Stick with it. 1.4LB is still GREAT progress. I only weight once a week, same time each week so I'm not obsessing about it. Keep at it, you're doing great!
  • My doc started me with 500mg and bumped it up last august after I hadn't ovulated in 80 days. I'm fairly regular (about 30 days) on 1000mg right now when I'm not on the clomid. I honesty hadn't thought that it my not be enough. I have an appointment in a few weeks, I'll ask if it should be checked.
  • I have the FT4 and don't miss the extra functions that the FT7 has. It still gives me the total time and the average HR and everything that I need. I wear it anytime I'm doing any type of workout, including mowing the lawn! Best thing ever!
  • Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I miscarried about 2 years ago and have been trying for my rainbow baby ever since. I've since been diagnosed with PCOS so it makes it a little harder, but I will say that staying focused on me and my health is something that got me through the depression after my miscarriage. Keep up…
  • Hips, booty and big boobs here and I've learned to embrace the curve! I find that I really love ModCloth like some others. You can never go wrong with an a line, but I'm into 40's and 50's fashion and slimmer lines. Flaunt your curves! My style icon in Christina Hendricks...show them off!
  • Group interval personal training session - Cardio and weights!.
  • String Cheese, choc dusted almonds, Nature Valley Crunchy granola bar, Or fruit!
  • Thanks I'll check these out.
  • So which is better, doing it outside or inside on a treadmill?
  • Focus on paying the minimum on the one with the lower balance and pay double on the one that is higher. Once you get to the point where one is paid off, hide it from yourself and don't use it. Use it as your emergency card. Then you can pay double on the second card and get it paid off, then only put as much on there as…
  • TOTALLY understand. I get horrible symptoms, but I really thing that exercising helps ALOT. I love doing something hard as well! My spin Tabata class works wonders on my symptoms! Go for a light walk, drink a glass of wine and hit hard when you feel better!
  • Sorry I'd rather go with a nice scotch whiskey...McAlen 18 is my fav.
  • My Son was without anything, but that was also prior to my diagnosis and I conceived directly after getting of BC. I was able to conceive without for my last pregnancy but lost it at 9 weeks. My hubby and I have been trying for 2 years now and recently just did round 1 with clomid and Metformin. What's the reason you don't…
  • What time are you going to bed? You may be getting what your body needs for sleep! If you're having issues sleeping maybe try some melatonin. It takes a few days and you have to be stick to what time you take it, but it works great for me to get a schedule going.
