So a friend recently recommended me trying Plexus slim. I've got PCOS and she heard all of these amazing things it has done for women with PCOS. I'm interested to hear what ya'll think of it, PCOS or not. Honest opinions here. Its an expensive supplement and i want to hear the good, great, and ugly of it all....ANNNND GO>>>>

The product is made up of green coffee bean, garcinia cambogia and alpha lipoic acid.
Will not do a a thing for weight loss. Just your wallet thinner.

MLM scam with ingredients that look like they came straight off the Dr. Oz show.

You may lose- but most people cant afford the $100 monthly and gain back more weight than they lost.

EDIT: Weight loss by MLM should be enough to turn you away.

Sadly Plexus is a product that is significantly marked up and marketed towards women. It makes me so mad that they use these kinds of tactics to drive sales. There is a thread here with lots of women with PCOS and multiple success stories from women with PCOS. Don't let some company or a "friend" sell you and over priced low quality protein shake.

Thanks but that doesn't help! She is a great friend and knows how much PCOS has affected my life. She was offering something that she had heard success stories from.

Symptom relief was the biggest thing talked about while using the triplex. The Slim is apparently is just where I would be recommended to start. Weight loss was even mentioned in our discussions.

I tried it for a week- no changes other than water weight. My best friend got suckered in, her and hubby- I had to hide them on facebook plastering PINK DRINK sales pitches. They are both bigger than when they bought in and no longer sell or take it. Oh and we are FB friends again. LOL.

Thats my experience. She nor I have PCOS so I cant speak for that.

The only people recommending that stuff are the people pedaling it who have a personal financial incentive in getting you to try it.
