Hey all first check in - I've just finished month one and moving on to month two, by day 17 I had lost a total of 13 inches!!!! No weight though but inches are what count to me which is fine! I'm dreading month two as the work outs are longer but I'll manage! Can't give up now and can't wait to see the results.

I always attract the wrong type! bad boys etc, but what I like are intelligent guys who can put me in my place when needed but who will also not be afraid to treat me like a princess no matter who is around. Also tall and well built, but doesn't need to be godly in the muscle department!

Mine came out at around 2000 calories a day which I think is pretty reasonable

Feel free to add me, I've just started 1200 calories today and could do with some support because I think i'm going to struggle but nothing else has worked so trying this now!

I get flushing of my cheeks in the afternoon normally. Never had an explanation for it though but its directly related to my hypothyroid.

I too have been researching this but I have no answers for you. It seems like it would be but I am scared to try at the moment. I have one option left which is bupa via work. NHS wont even test my T3 levels so I'm hoping Bupa will and I will be able to move forward. I'm only on 50mg of Levo at the moment and have…

I think greek yogurt would be fine or something like creme frachie (sp*) low fat of course.

You look amazing! Such an inspiration! Well done !

Diet is just the word of choice. I want to increase my calories for maintenance and eat differently for the rest of my life. Sometimes its just easier to say diet as that is what we are all accustomed to saying.
-
That's Inspirational - thanks. I sometimes think I think about things too much!
-
Don't you find that you can eat loads though when you eat back exercise calories. Doesn't really feel like a diet. For example I'm going swimming tonight and even the lowest estimate of calories burned for an hour is like 600. thats on top on a walk with the dog @ 150cals plus my daily MFP total of 1350.
-
Wow that is regimented. Its funny how everyone does it different!
-
Bumping for some more responses. I also feel like when i eat my exercise calories back i'm not dieting.
-
I suppose if you were doing weight watchers or something you would do what they tell you to do. So I think for now MFP settings are the way to go. I've set it to 1.5lbs a week and I'll eat back some exercise calories.
-
I'm in - this is just what I need!
-
I think it helps but its more about food. I do all sorts of exercise swimming, running, dvd's etc but if I don't get the food right none of it matters.

So much of this rings true for me. I used to be 18 stone (252lbs) and I lost 7 stone taking me to around 154lbs which was a UK size 10-12 at 5ft 7. When i was bigger I couldn't get a job even when i was the best qualified. When i did get a job I was told by my boss that I needed a bigger wardrobe as when I reached up my…

I'm 5ft 7 and weigh 200lbs I'm on 1600 calories a day and eat back exercise calories if I can. So I'm usually at 1800-2000 a day. I am losing but slowly. But I have Hypothyroid also so I think that slows it down. I don't believe in eating 1200 calories a day because its not realistic in the long term. Also eating 300…

What a fantastic start! It doesn't matter if you don't get it every week - one more pound and that's half a stone. Great achievement!
-
I'm here every day - i've just got to 50 days - i'm totally committed but i'm not loosing a lot but feel free to add me.
-
I'm just getting to grips with this idea at the moment, still adjusting my calories to get it right. Couldn't stick with the 1200 a day though i'd die! I like logging my exercise so I do it slightly different but it amounts to the same.
-
Add me i take the time to comment and view diaries etc and I log in daily! goes for anyone!
