If I drink milk with pus, can I stop taking probiotics?

Really? I have never heard of such a thing. Wow.

My charge HR has been accurate in step counts. I had trouble at first until I did the stride test. I also had doubts about the heart rate/calorie burns. Pushing up the band about an inch on my arm during walking workouts has helped alot. I also start/stop the timer whenever I am seriously walking as this gives me the…

I found that I was not hungry after waking until 3 pm or so. If I ate breakfast because "it is the thing to do" I was hungry from that point on. Now I don't start eating my calories until late afternoon. My body tells me when most of the time. Most of the time I eat my calories between 5pm and 9pm. I am very happy to have…

I have my sights set on 160. But I'm anxious to see if I will want to continue to lose at that point. I will get back to you in about 7 months. LOL

CI=what you eat. CO=what your body uses. Add additional walking = increased CO Yes! I lose weight walking :)

Hi! Back in my younger days, I worked in a hospital. And my whole crew took diet pills. And we were health professionals! There were no doctors who guided our usage or kept an eye on our health. It was crazy! You may feel a bit down by the responses received here but it's because we care about your health....really. It…

Me too! I was hoping some of that youth would rub off. Best wishes to all!

I have found that I can go most of the daytime without feeling hunger. But boy, do I want to eat at night. After trying the 3-5 meals per day and always feeling like I wanted more...I gave up! Now I eat all my calories from 5p-10p and I I love it. Please don't suffer, try different things until you find what works for you.…

I had no clue what real hunger was when I started CICO. I think each day for a month I asked a new question. Many very basic questions. LOL and I really appreciated everyones' tolerance.

I think discussions about personal experiences with certain foods, controling hunger, and learning what others have experienced should be a part of the MFP community. If it helps someone to talk about their individual challenges with certain foods and other issues then we should encourage these folks to post. It may be…

I have upgraded to the Charge HR and what a difference! The heart rate monitor is spot on and very much needed for accurate calorie burns in my opinion. It's great to sync with MFP. I also find the weekly report from Fitbit very valuable for weight loss. Very motivating and fun.

Date night dinners. I always cave in a restaurant and it takes the fun out of going.

I have a pair of the cutest jeans hanging in my kitchen. I dream of the day I can wear them again! LOL

A jello sundae. Sugar free jello, banana slices and 4 TBSPS of sugar free cool whip....so good! Pineapple chunks too if I have enough calories. :p

Many people see an increase in appetite after eating, especially breakfast. I googled it and found I was far from alone in this. Research and see if it is possible this is happening for you as well. I've adjusted my eating patterns for my needs. Some call it intermittent fasting and I find it works great for me! No more…

It's fun to watch it get longer. I hang it on my fridge. Just remember you must remove them if you gain a bit. That helps too!

Hi Laney! Missed you on the other post!

Good morning to all. I'm so happy to meet everyone! Would anyone like to report in total calories eaten, calories burned from exercise and loss each week? Maybe every Monday? I think it is a great way to watch our numbers! Dear Melt, I hope your recovery is fast and as pain free as possible! Take it easy girl! Hey…

Amen!

Good morning everyone! When the snow melts in Canada you will have melted off 50 lbs! 124 days to go. I managed to stick to my calorie goal yesterday but alas...no exercise. Getting on the Gazelle right now. Maybe. lol Be strong today! Laura

OK...I'm 58 and have had 2 hip replacements and 1 knee replacement in the past year. If I can do this, you certainly can! There are exercises online to strengthen the muscles around the knees which will dramatically help the pain. I'm sure you will learn some in PT. Every pound you lose your joints will thank you! You can…

I have found the more days I force myself to stop binges and stay on track....the easier it gets to not binge. I have enough willpower and desire to get through a single day and each single day adds up fast. In a matter of a month, I no longer have the urge to binge. Does it last forever? No! But I repeat the process again…

We become what we do and think and say every day. Do the weighing and logging every day. Think positively about becoming slender and healthy. Say "I can do this" out loud as often as needed throughout each day!
-
I really like that you start getting back on track after a meal. I'm working very hard on that! A bad meal usually gives me license to eat out of control for the rest of the day too. Nipping it in the bud right away is the only way for me!

Take a walk, polish your nails, help another on MFP, listen to a downloaded hypnosis app but mostly never say the words "huge and ugly" again. Repeat after me... "I am a beautiful, confident woman and I can do this!" And everytime you feel down, repeat it over and over again!

Hello to all! My name is Laura. At 58 I'm finally going to do this the right way! After having 2 hip replacements and 1 knee replacement, I am back to where I started a year ago. If I want these new joints to last I really need to get these 50 lbs off! It is nice to meet you Jaimie and Brittany! We can do this!!!

I have no idea why it is so hard to get back on track....we all know how to do this right! I gained so much after having surgery and it is time to get it together and start again. I realized yesterday that I have stopped doing some very important things like logging honestly, weighing daily, moving more and participating…
