Good for her at least being willing to give it a try. That is the first step. :smile: I try to tell women that it's not muscle that bulks them up, it's fat. :tongue: Maybe one day they will listen. Oh, and that weights that weigh less than their purse won't help them out much.

She looks great! I try to convince many ladies of this very fact, but many don't believe me and say they don't want to bulk up.. even when I tell them that they won't because they lack testosterone. Oh well. They'll be envious when I look like Jamie and they don't. :wink:

Carmine's Italian Restaurant is really good and well known (http://www.carminesnyc.com/). They actually opened one up in DC which I need to check out now. Pizza from pretty much anywhere in New York is good - best pizza around. Try a bagel for breakfast too - NY bagels are good. :smile:

Since you say you do a lot of cardio, switch some of those out with strength training. You should strength train 3 times a week to gain some muscle mass which will fight the fat and lower your body fat percentage. And no, muscle won't bulk you up. :wink:

You totally got this, Kim! One thing I could say that would be a compromise is to get a cheap lockable filing cabinet, and have him put the junk food in there and lock it away with a key. Or he could have a hiding place that you don't know about. :tongue:

I totally bounce around. I am stuck at the low 150's high 140's, just keep bouncing and not losing. Try changing up your workouts if you have been doing the same thing. Add some HIIT (high intensity interval training) and strength training if you haven't already. Just keep trying. :)

I would say move them around to put the legs workout in. So maybe this: Mon - Zumba Tues - Running Wed.-Core Synergistics Thurs.-Shoulders and Arms Fri.- Kenpo or Cardio X Sat.- Legs & Back Sun- rest (although not really since it's house cleaning/yard work day)
