Great work! I really liked reading your story, you send a really positive message to us all.

Cool pictures.Where are they from? I hope Canada washed the table after putting a fresh fish on it, hahah. I think the obesity epidemic isn't just a product of what we eat. But the fact that so many people eat like the USA picture (and other countries pictures too) shows and doesn't move.

About 20 hours ago. mmmmm :)

I had to google what TCOB meant. But definitely this. Definitely. I don't eat either before AM runs. Also, I think you definitely have to train your body to do early runs. So don't feel too bummed if your first AM run is difficult (maybe it won't be though!) My pace is a little slower in the AMs, but I appreciate it once…

This is an interesting accident. Usually, for me at least, it's I accidentally tripped while running and now my knee is bleeding. Maybe take an ice bath? I am worried about your knees since this is so much longer than your normal run. I definitely agree with the other advice given (ibuprofin, stretch, etc)

I am a 6 ft female and at 173-175 and I am pretty lean, slightly lanky. I wanted to get to 168 but it's just not happening! I know all bodies are different and we show our weight differently.... but 6'5 and 150??? Was that a typo did you mean 250?? I am no Dr, but I would say you should be like 190-200+ at that height if…

Yogi "slim life" has a blueberry one that I find so delicious. There are a lot of flavored ones you could try!! Avoid adding sugar!

I have a siberian cat who is just like that! Can you post a picture of your cat? I bought my cat a chew toy (petco sells them, it looks like a worm). I give it to her when she chews on the furniture. I play fetch with her to wear her out. And give her lots of toys! Her favorite is a tunnel.

Not to be a complete dummy, but I was trying to find the comments that I thought were a little attitudey and they are now MIA! So I just look like a dumb dumb!!! I like discussion, definitely. I just felt like comments were getting a bit wacky for the topic. But I failed since my evidence is now missing. Maybe they were…

I don't really understand this whole obesity epidemic in the US. To be honest, I don't understand why it just gets that bad. One thing I thought of when I read through this thread a little was this documentary on obesity I saw 2 yrs ago. It showed how people walk differently as they gain more and more weight. They start to…

What's with the attitudes of people on this thread? This person is just sharing something they found tasty.

Your house would definitely be safe with this combo

Yeah I wouldn't trust this dog (below) at all.. PSH! (joke). I want to go up to that dog and kiss it's face. How cute!!! I understand if you have a bad experience with a certain breed, to maybe be shaky around a future dog of that breed. I was bitten by 1 dog, a shih tzu, and for a while I was not comfortable being around…

Same! I make my own granola bars, and they fill me right up

I think it is perfectly fine to feel frustrated. Frustration is fuel for your fire so you keep working hard. I do agree, careful with a goal to lose so many lbs in 1 month, maybe aim for 2 months? I hear you on weekends -- it can be tough!

Ah! I have wanted one of these for a while. Thanks for reminding me, I am ordering one now!

All i can say is, it hurts my belly if i eat too close to nighty night time.

I didn't read this article fully, but there is an equation in it about how much you burn according to body weight (http://www.runnersworld.com/weight-loss/how-many-calories-are-you-really-burning-0?page=single) You can definitely burn over 1000 calories, it depends on you, the activity, and the amount of time you put into…

1. I don't have time to work out 2. Oh you run? I can't run, it hurts my knees (I guess it makes sense if you have artificial knees!) 3. I barely eat anything!

Can you add me? Is this a group we can all chit chat along the way?

I have deleted people for the following 3 reasons: 1). Haven't logged in a long time, 30 days + 2). Told me to "get back to it" when I said I ate chocolate 3). Said god created all food

I second this!!!

I find it funny that people are suggesting peanut butter when you clearly say you don't like nuts :-P Definitely avocado. Mmmmm....! Do you care for seeds? I don't know what it is about the texture you do not like, but maybe seeds would be a little different texture wise (I just started eating pumpkin seeds, they are…

1,200 seems so low. I eat about 1800.day. But I think if you aren't cranky, eating balanced, not feeling exhausted, and lose weight -- then it works for you! I definitely agree, different people need different paths, and that's just fine

This post got me scared that I forgot mother's day (it's in May in the US). I think I'll tell my mom I love her anyway!

I think other people are right, you should change your idea of what is normal. I am not trying to be mean or too critical, but for instance, with your burger meal -- what if you used skim cheese, or 1/2 slice a cheese? Or 150 calories for ketchup? What about using half that? Maybe starting with really simple ways to cut…

I do 1/2 scoop of protein powder, 1/2 to 1 cup blue berries, some ice cubes and 1/2 cup of yogurt. Sometimes i swap the fruit, but I have been on a blue berry kick

I use Jarrow's whey protein (http://www.amazon.com/Jarrow-Formulas-Protein-French-Vanilla/dp/B0013OSK8Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362527497&sr=8-1&keywords=jarrows+whey+french+vanilla) It says no artifical sweetners. I didnt fully research it -- but i didnt see anything like aspartame in it
