I think I am about to delete some "friends" because out of about 15 friends only 2-3 motivates me.... So there be it......

Not logging in for over a month (there are a couple I'm really hoping will come back so I haven't deleted them". I haven't had enough other problems yet but there have been some jerks on the forums who I would have deleted of they were my friends.

Got a friend request turned down today :( but I understand. The person had posted something inspiring and got like a million friend requests.

I only delete if they haven't been on for so long their account status is registered 'inactive'.

    - haven't logged in for a month.
    - under-eating consistently despite constantly posting about wanting to change.
    - people with ED's, they need professional help not mine
    - people with 20-30 status updates per day with only 2-3 being about fitness/food
    - people that don't interact with me and never comment on my posts (I mean ever)

I've had quite a few deleting sessions over the months on here, it's very rewarding :p

Deleted someone who posted more about her faith and love for god than fitness and weight loss. I respect your religious beliefs but I'm not here for a praise the lord session.

The only reason I'd ever delete someone is if they turned into a creeper. one dude literally posted something in the forum where he talked about his wife and kids, I responded, he added me, and starts hitting on me. EW! I feel bad for his wife.

Because they want to see my junk.

If they go from "would bang" to "no bang." That's pretty much it.

Sometimes I'll go through and delete anyone that doesn't talk to me or log in.

This way my feed is only full of people I talk to on a regular basis, so I can see what they're doing really quickly, then get on with my day.

-the ones who never comment on my successes/failures/challenges, or anything for that matter!
-the ones who haven't logged on in at least a month.

I have only deleted a couple but it was because of their attitude and mouth, and a couple when they haven't logged in forever.

Add me and NEVER speak...how are we friends if you don't talk/comment anything! x

    when they stop logging
when they never respond with any encouragement to others but log all the time
    when they just collect friends
when they seem a little strange for my liking after a bit or seem self absorbed after a bit.

When they don't respond to my posts to them after about 3 times. If I'm checking up on your well-being, or saying hello, at least say "boo" or something,

    I delete people who:
    - haven't logged in for a while (usually over 3 weeks),
    - constantly post negative things about themselves or healthy lifestyles,
    - are only here to seek attention,
    - do not interact with me. I try to motivate everyone on my list, and if I find I'm not getting motivation in return I'll delete them.
  • If they're sending me dirty messages, or if they don't interact with me. I want FRIENDS, not just people on a list.

While I haven't gotten dirty messages, I agree with the interacting part. I had a "friend" who lost a good deal of weight. If I remember correctly, I saw her on a forum and sent a message telling her she looks great, and she friended me. She had tons of friends. She would update her status, and I would comment, but she never commented on anything of mine. Doesn't feel like a friend. One day she started talking about doing a detox. Not my thing...so I unfriended her. And people who don't log in for a month or more.

What are these "friends" one speaks of?
  • I have deleted people for the following 3 reasons:
    1). Haven't logged in a long time, 30 days +
2). Told me to "get back to it" when I said I ate chocolate
3). Said god created all food
