I regularly go through and delete people...

People who don't interact - after all this is about supporting EACH OTHER. It's not a one way street.
    People who dont log in.
Only ONE person so far who's goals were far from healthy. Think she was something like 5'9" and wanted to be under 100lbs
People who regularly whine about it all being too hard.
    Basically anyone who isnt committed

As a result I have a wonderful group of supportive friends and I am happy to support them as well.

-People who haven't logged in for over a month.
-People who think that it is really healthy to consistently have negative calorie intake days and get pissed off when you try to talk to them about it.

-people who net under 1000 cals regularly
-men who want to pair up as workout buddies and don't take no for an answer
-people who haven't logged in in more than a week
-people who 'start over' every monday
    -those who start inane drama

I hardly ever delete people. I've deleted a couple just for the constant nonsense, foul posts over and over. Nothing fitness related but I don't see a need to delete people otherwise.

I very, very rarely delete people. If I do it's invariably because they either post about how they haven't eaten anything for 3 days so they can get their thigh gap but definitely don't have a disorder honest, or because they use MFP as a platform for religious worship. Anyone else tends to survive fine on my list.

    Because:

-They never stop updating their status... NEVER!! I don't care what your boss just said to you, I don't care what song you're listening to!

Yes, I friended someone once and unfriended her the same day because as soon as I accepted her FR, my page was full of just her nonsensical statuses. I couldn't see anything from anyone else.

I haven't deleted anyone else, but would if they were being offensive (and I'm not easily offended by any stretch of the imagination), being a jerk, or trying to push unhealthy things on everyone else.

Most of Ya'll feel the same way - and would UN friend for the same reasons - so rather than add to that notion let me come at it from another angle (as a few of you did) just to make it interesting. I'm going to take a positive spin on this.

WHO I LOVE KEEPING ON MY FRIENDS LIST THAT MANY MIGHT NOT:

    1. You never comment on my burns, diary, or communicate with me, but you post hysterical odd ball things about your day that make me laugh (one friend).

    2. You argue with me over percentages, eating back your calories after exercise, eating under or over your BMR, but have factual information or links to back up your statements (I love you people!).

    - We are all learning. I've made a point of restudying the biochemistry of nutrition and check my information all the time with experts in the field. While I know a lot of stuff....I still love people who make me think and have alternate points of view! If you don't make mistakes, you don't learn and you learn more from your mistakes than you do from being right.

    3. You are a Palieo head, Vegan, Adkin's dieter, or have other concepts about foods and nutrition because you make me study all this stuff and understand the plus and minus sides to what you do.

    4. You post things in your diary I've never seen or heard of before (love you follks in Europe) that have great numbers.

    5. You're photos and progress are amazing.

    6. You are supportive (even if it's just once in a while).

    7. You're helpful with suggestions (even if I don't agree) but don't push your point unless asked to.

    8. You have similar goals (you resistance train, you do aerobic training).

    9. You Dance.

    10. You can't dance.

    11. You don't know a carb from a carborator.

    12. You think Omega 3 is planet the Enterprise visited.

    13. You think Galactose is a solar system the Enterprise would have visited.

    14. You believe that to lose more weight you have to eat more.

    15. You believe to gain more weight, you have to eat less.

    16. I want to marry you ........

    17. I want to marry you........ (yes, I know I said this twice...yes, I know I said this twice)

    18. You live on an Island surrounded by water and sand.

    19. You're a wanna be jock.

    20. You participate in Wednesday and Friday photos shoots (and Thong Thursday).

    21. You have friends with great photos.

    22. You're not hot or you don't participate in the above photo shoots but have Apples as your profile photo.

    23. You post in forums trying to help people.

24.You hope for your food percentages to be 36 -24 -36.

    25. You read this and you want to FR me.

Have a great weekend people. Hope I made you smile just a little.

    Can we be friends? :flowerforyou:

Those just on here to solicit dirty pics
Those mean to people I care about
    People who never interract
If anybody ever sends me pics of their swimsuit parts, hasta la vista

^^^this. And I also delete attention *kitten* (unless they're funny or really nice and supportive) so yeah. Attention *kitten* with no redeeming value.

I don't usually. But I have found some really cool people here. And they were so cool.... Soooo cool, with soooo many friends. But to them I was nothing. They had a bazillion friends. Some would say "friend collectors". So the couple of friends I had like that, just never spoke to me. NEVER,. Even once sending a PM to them.No Response. Which made me very sad. Because the one person was so dunking funny. Potty humor and all. I looked forward to her. What was she going to make laugh with next??? Now I miss her. Crap.. okaaaay..... :embarassed: I do have a twitter account, where I "Follow People" over there. But over here on MFP I would like some random interaction from time to time. So I had to delete a couple or so since last year. They just never spoke to me. And if I don't exsist, i can just follow people over at Twitter. Haaah. Sad but true.

Aaand. I do not delete any persons based on their calorie levels. Or what they eat. Veggie or Non-Veggie. Bacon or Non-Bacon. Carb or No-carb. Glute or Non-Glute.

Yeah, some people are very "cool", and some are very funny. But whatever they are, if they never interacted with me, or did so in a way that wasn't enjoyable to me, I'd probably delete them after awhile. Not interested in wall art. Lol!

Overly motivational. Sometimes being encouraged to "crush" the day saps the little energy I have left.

People who I no longer recognize on my list.
