Why do YOU delete "friends"
Replies
-
I think I am about to delete some "friends" because out of about 15 friends only 2-3 motivates me.... So there be it......0
-
Not logging in for over a month (there are a couple I'm really hoping will come back so I haven't deleted them". I haven't had enough other problems yet but there have been some jerks on the forums who I would have deleted of they were my friends.
Got a friend request turned down today but I understand. The person had posted something inspiring and got like a million friend requests.0 -
people who don't log anymore...or have eating disorders, can't support that0
-
When they don't pay the bacon rent.0
-
I only delete if they haven't been on for so long their account status is registered 'inactive'.0
-
-Havent logged in over a month
- Dont motivate
-Talk negatively ALL THE TIME0 -
Haven't logged in a month ..
^^^ This0 -
- haven't logged in for a month.
- under-eating consistently despite constantly posting about wanting to change.
- people with ED's, they need professional help not mine
- people with 20-30 status updates per day with only 2-3 being about fitness/food
- people that don't interact with me and never comment on my posts (I mean ever)
I've had quite a few deleting sessions over the months on here, it's very rewarding0 -
Deleted someone who posted more about her faith and love for god than fitness and weight loss. I respect your religious beliefs but I'm not here for a praise the lord session.0
-
The only reason I'd ever delete someone is if they turned into a creeper. one dude literally posted something in the forum where he talked about his wife and kids, I responded, he added me, and starts hitting on me. EW! I feel bad for his wife.0
-
Because they want to see my junk.0
-
If they go from "would bang" to "no bang." That's pretty much it.0
-
Sometimes I'll go through and delete anyone that doesn't talk to me or log in.
This way my feed is only full of people I talk to on a regular basis, so I can see what they're doing really quickly, then get on with my day.0 -
-the ones who never comment on my successes/failures/challenges, or anything for that matter!
-the ones who haven't logged on in at least a month.0 -

Please give me their names before unadding them. I always need more friends that do this0 -
I have only deleted a couple but it was because of their attitude and mouth, and a couple when they haven't logged in forever.0

Add me and NEVER speak...how are we friends if you don't talk/comment anything! x0
-
when they stop logging
when they never respond with any encouragement to others but log all the time
when they just collect friends
when they seem a little strange for my liking after a bit or seem self absorbed after a bit.0 -
People who want to add you, then never ever respond to anything you do or write0
-
People that NEVER interact.
People with ED's.....that aren't trying to get better.0 -
b/c he wears a banana hammock and I just get tired of seeing his junk every time I log in.
eww!!!!! haha thats so funny! and i can totally picture it in my head
I was picturing it too. :laugh:0 -
When they don't respond to my posts to them after about 3 times. If I'm checking up on your well-being, or saying hello, at least say "boo" or something,0
-
I delete people who:
- haven't logged in for a while (usually over 3 weeks),
- constantly post negative things about themselves or healthy lifestyles,
- are only here to seek attention,
- do not interact with me. I try to motivate everyone on my list, and if I find I'm not getting motivation in return I'll delete them.0 -
If they're sending me dirty messages, or if they don't interact with me. I want FRIENDS, not just people on a list.
While I haven't gotten dirty messages, I agree with the interacting part. I had a "friend" who lost a good deal of weight. If I remember correctly, I saw her on a forum and sent a message telling her she looks great, and she friended me. She had tons of friends. She would update her status, and I would comment, but she never commented on anything of mine. Doesn't feel like a friend. One day she started talking about doing a detox. Not my thing...so I unfriended her. And people who don't log in for a month or more.0 -
we dont interact
not motivated0 -
What are these "friends" one speaks of?0
-
I have deleted people for the following 3 reasons:
1). Haven't logged in a long time, 30 days +
2). Told me to "get back to it" when I said I ate chocolate
3). Said god created all food0 -
