Tacomeat. ...it's one word, I promise.

I got breast implants. ...after losing 150bs, there was no better way to reward myself. My old goal weight was 175, but once I got there, I also rewarded myself by continuing on, and not stopping just because I had picked some random number oh so many years ago!

It's taken me 5 years to lose 150(ish) lbs, but I did it in waves (320 to 250, 250-225, 225-200, 200-190, 190-170) taking significant breaks where I just stayed at the same weight for a while, so not gaining, but not losing. ...the good part is, even though it took me a while, it has stayed off, and my body doesn't look…

My family/friends are supportive, but, I've been hearing 'you should stop now' from a lot of people recently, and it's getting kinda old. Even a guy I was dating told me I should stop losing weight, and that, essentially, I would be less attractive if I didn't. Does anyone else get this, and does it bother you? My best…

It's so funny, when I was at my heaviest, well over 300lbs, I didn't see myself as being super fat. At all. I kinda thought I was hot ****, actually. Now that I actually am hot ****, I see myself as being WAAAAYYYYY bigger than I am. Case and point, I have a coworker that I thought I was the same size as - today I found…

I LITERALLY just did this over the weekend. I've been in love with this dude who owns this shop I frequent. ...we kinda talk/flirt weekly, and he finally gave me a card with his contact info on it, so I emailed him and hit him with the 'call me maybe'. We'll see!

I made a HUGE error calculating my new calorie target, it's actually 1971, not 2351. ...glad I caught that!

Thank you all for your suggestions and comments! <3

This is a big issue for me - so much of an issue it actually effects my relationships with others. For instance, I am constantly offending my friends by making comments about how 'big' I am, when in reality, they are much bigger than me, yet I see myself as their same size. I'm a size 8 (now, I used to be over 300lbs), but…

Perhaps I should have put something about implants in the title to attract the needed visitors! ;)

Thank you. All of it really. The surgery itself, the results, everything. It's a big thing. I think I'm also a little freaked out to have made it this far, and now doing this thing to celebrate is also a little scary, if that makes sense. I worry about doing this big thing to myself, and then gaining the weight back. I…

Thank you, and just to give you some info, you absolutely do not need implants when you get a lift! Just an FYI. ;)

...not sure if I'm hot yet, but here are some before and afters. Before: After:

My dad said this to me once. ...honestly, I never knew how much it affected me til recently. But it still does affect me, to this very day.

I started at 303. My goal weight is 175 (I think). I'm at 190 currently. I eat 1680 calories a day as a base + I eat back my exercise calories. I originally started about 4 years ago maybe, but I plateaued for like 2 years at 215. I seriously start again about 4 months ago.

Amazing. I needed to see this. I've lost over 100lbs, but kind of like you, in different ways, phases, etc. I'm getting close to my goal weight (16lbs to go), but just within the last 4 months or so, I've started exercising (not just cardio either, mostly strength training) and it's making all the difference. I used to…

Perhaps my comment is irrelevant, because I'm not particularly big, but I actually take issue with the term BBW. It has a negative connotation to me, because, in my opinion, it suggests that it can't be assumed that because you're heavier, you're beautiful, it has to be explicitly stated. Perhaps I'm alone on this. I…

I honestly feel like on a road trip, fast food could be your best friend, if you do it right. ...and this is coming from a person who doesn't even eat fast food. I say that because you have the nutritional info at your fingertips, and because you can choose healthy(ish) options, knowing good and well how many calories,…

I love how conversations like this always turn into an issue of mutual exclusivity. I didn't see the original post say anything about not being personally responsible for ones own weight or health. Just because the original poster believes that companies add **** to their food to make it more enticing, doesn't necessitate…

I'm proud that I start coaching track today. ...not only is it going to be a great workout for me, it's getting kids in an urban area (where obesity is a HUGE issue - no pun intended) to start running. We're going to learn about health and nutrition as well as getting in some great exercise. Not to mention, when I was…

I have big legs and a big booty. ...love it, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

This. ...and to add to it, people take themselves waaaaaaaay too seriously on MFP. It's a social network. Get over yourselves.
