My cardio falls about 70% in zone 3, and 30% in zone 4. Even when I was trying to burn fat, I just couldn't slow myself down enough to operate in zone 2 for any significant amount of time.

My wife only lifts heavy on the weekends when we work out together. The rest of the week she keeps it everything between 20-30 lbs, or so she says. In her case it's peer pressure - she doesn't want to look like a standout.

I can't help with youtube links, but my wife bought the Zumba DVDs on a groupon for about $30 Canadian. After doing those for a while, she started going to classes at the community centre.

I'm surprised how many of you even know the model of shoes you're wearing. I don't In the gym I wear New Balance - cross trainers. On the soccer field I wear Adidas (indoor and outdoor models) For running I stick with Adidas, the model is one of the ones that compensates for my over-pronation.

I'll second the comments above me. Even in the beachbody forums a lot of the group I was in were not losing weight in the middle of the program. Also ask yourself the question - are you perhaps dropping fat and replacing it with muscle? I didn't have a lot of fat to lose in the program, but I toned up a heck of a lot.…

There's a small chain here called Chorizo Fresh Mex. I've recently started going there as my wife and I have given up gluten. Their burrito bowls are pretty good, and their nutritional information plays well with my diet.

wrap it in tin foil along with your favourite herbs - I just use Mrs Dash lemon pepper. Then run it through the dishwasher. Sounds funny eh but it works Or oven roasted with sliced lemon on top. The juices from the lemon will leak into the salmon. Mmmm

I've done two rounds of insanity. I love the program. I learned so much about managing my diet as a result of it.

I use COMPLX5. Its basically ginseng that you take prior to working out. I don't use it that often for my workouts only if I feel a little tired and need a pick me up.

I'm on Promasil. It works well for me. However if you have food allergies / sensitivities check the label since its a blend of multiple sources of protein. (whey, goat milk, milk, egg, etc) - 90 Cal 20g Protien per scoop. I add it to my oatmeal in the morning, and as an after-workout drink.
