thanks! i do feel like my TOM is coming so hopefully that is contributing. I dont want to be a daily weigher- i just want to make sure im on the right path here. I just want to make sure that ultimately the scale is going down, not up!

i have been eating almost all of my exercise calories. I will try that with the macros- i did notice im consistently going over protein. i guess then bye bye to pasta? Im confused because posters told me that all that matters is calories in/calories out and that pasta was okay as long as i had the calories for it

I am 5"6/5"7 and 153. Not technically overweight but I would like to lose 15 lbs.

thanks so much! in the past when i have dieted, i have tried to force myself to eat salads and grilled chicken every day. personally, i dont enjoy either very much. I am definitely not eating fast food all day long, but its a far cry from eating alfalfa sprouts and egg whites.

seems like you are at a decent weight so maybe your body doesnt want to lose weight.

so many times i have thought about what i will reward myself with. truthfully, no pedicure/bag/new bathing suit etc can equal the reward of just being happy with my body. my rewards will be, not hating myself in pictures, not feeling self conscious every day, not hating shopping for new clothing, not beating myself up…

homemade zuchinni soup (super low cal and yum) and noodles and cottage cheese- a comfort food from childhood.

You are me. I can be good all day and once the kids are in bed it hits. My husband travels a lot so I'm stuck at home with all the junk food calling to me. I'm going to try reading a good book to distract me
