I have been seriously logging and sticking to my calorie goal for 2 days. Can someone please look at my diary and let me know if i am doing okay? I feel guilty eating pasta and low fat ice cream, but it all fits in my budget- and i have been having plenty of fruits and veggies as well. thanks in advance for any advice

Don't feel guilty eating pasta, I had pasta for dinner. There are many options for a "healthier" pasta version, like wheat pasta for example. I also have ice cream occasionally and I buy the yogurt low fat kind, and I'm always staying under my calorie goal. Just because you are under your calorie goal, doesn't mean you are eating good foods that will help towards weight loss.
For example, I could eat McDonald's and stay under my calorie goal, but I would be putting junk food into my body which isn't good. A good reason why I'm glad McDonald's makes me sick!

thanks so much! in the past when i have dieted, i have tried to force myself to eat salads and grilled chicken every day. personally, i dont enjoy either very much. I am definitely not eating fast food all day long, but its a far cry from eating alfalfa sprouts and egg whites.0
