Trying this tonight with my diabetic FIL. So excited that he might be able to eat pizza again.

What kind did you find you like? I just tried a new one and do NOT like it, but will finish it off anyways because I can't afford not to.

My aunt's husband is only about 6 years older than her oldest child. She was in her 40's when they married, they've been together for 20 years....the age difference now is really close to your situation; she is in her early 60s he is mid 40s

bumping...this has a lot of info I am interested in. I just want to make sure before I purchase it...is the New Rules of Lifting for Women a book by Lou Schuler?

Sounds yummy!

I am just shy of 5'2", 37 yrs old, and a right in the middle of a medium/large build (going by the wrist measurement when I was high school). I weigh 145 and just started fitting some size 10s, but all the 12s are quite loose. Even in high school, at 125-130 I had a hard time staying in a 10...but I am so much more active…

:blushing: Oops, didn't realize I had a double post.

Thank you for this. I needed to hear it.

106 here in my part of Okie-land...and climbing. There is nothing under 105 in the immediate forecast =(...I get up before the sun in order to walk in relative cool air.

I am still losing around the same amount I was before...never really stalled. I changed to be healthier in my weight loss. I went from 1200 to just over 1400 net. So I end up eating about 1700 because of eating back my exercise cals. Upping my calories didn't change what I was losing and I feel soooo much better; not so…

Two things: Was able to take the extender off of my bra and do 25 girl style push ups (I started about 6 months ago with none and doing wall push up thingies in the shower)

This is an amazing guide! Answers so many of my questions, and gives me a place to start...and it is free. It takes awhile to wade through it all, but it was worth it. I think I am going to read through the last part again tomorrow when am not so tired and on brain overload. Thank you so much, Denise, for sharing this.

Done!

I do it in the morning. It helps me avoid being over because of a miscalculation and being too tired to work it off. There are times that I have to change things around because the day was different that planned, but most of the time it works

Going to join for the first time ever.

Thanks so much for asking this question. It answered something that had been bothering me for the last couple of days.

I agree with this. I went to YouTube and previewed both when trying to decide what to go with, and decided there was no way that I could do Insanity with the shape at which I was starting. I was even able to try the 30 Day Shred using YouTube. I went ahead and bought 30DS, even though all levels are on YouTube, because it…

I think I will have to do it to some extent my whole life. I actually like doing it, so it is a lifestyle I don't mind keeping.

My 11 year old is sitting next to me as I look at these. Here is what he said, "MY! She keeps getting younger and younger!" Made me laugh, but it is amazing how much younger you look now.

Finished my workout today! Yeah...I am feeling progress, although not seeing it on the scales or measurements yet. I usually don't workout when my 3 year old is around, since she invades my space, but today I had to. She was so stinking cute. After watching both me and the video for awhile, she started to stand over me and…

Check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pc-NizMgg8 that is level 1 on YouTube...I am told you can find the other two levels, but living out in the country I got tired of it freezing on me and not being able to do it without breaks, so I ordered from Amazon, and just used this to fill in until it arrived.

Finished day 5 yesterday. It is getting better. Any exercise including my triceps is killing me. I have to switch back and forth between my 2 pound weights and 5 depending on what area of the arm is being worked on...my goal is to be able to do the 5 pound weights for all by the end...getting closer.

My diary is open...but I am trying to keep my calories in check and eat clean. Messed up a little yesterday...arghh, very frustrating because I didn't even enjoy it much, and it made me feel sluggish.

I just found this group, but am so excited to join you all. I started a day behind you, but reading through these posts have already helped me, it is great to know what I am experiencing the norm. I forgot to get measurements...oops...so I will have to do that today.

I have been tracking it under circuit training...but I am not sure that is the best one or not.

I started 3 days ago, but would love to join for the motivation. To make it 6 weeks instead of 30 days how do you schedule your workouts? Right now I am doing mine on youtube while I wait for my video to arrive from Amazon.

WOW! You dropped more than weight, you dropped years off !! Incredible NSV.
