What matters is that 15% of the people in America are considered problem drinkers. No one really knows if they have a propensity for alcoholism until after they have started drinking. Like I said earlier, its a game of Russian Roulette.
-
right, so I bring up a proven statistic about drinking and you tell me I am passing moral judgement. Makes perfect sense.
-
whether its narrow minded or not doesn't matter. Alcohol is all too often an abused substance. Women, especially young white women are more prone to alcoholism than just about any other demographic. You can play Russian Roulette for the thrill, but why not play something else?

Drinking causes more harm than good. Of course there are scores of people who have only a glass of red wine 3x a week, but there is also a much more frightening trend that most people tend to take.

carbs= 4cals per gram fats= 9cals per gram proteins= 4cals per gram Alcohol= 7cals per gram There are a lot of deficiencies that come from drinking too much alcohol, doesnt sound like your a big drinker though. The problem with most alcoholic beverages is that they are mostly empty calories, especially hard liquors. So…

Carbs are what made mankind! Without carbs your brain can not function. People that cut out carbs to lose weight usually end up failing. On a side note, carbs kill kittens. you decide!

lol, I was thinking the same thing.

Are you opposed to going to a local gym? That might be your next best option. I suggest not getting into a long term commitment contract though. Do a month to month payment plan for a while. I have too many friends that pay for golds gym and dont go.

\ You just gotta stay consistent. I suggest getting rid of the scale. It wont do you any good. the best thing you can do is take pictures of yourself, and stay consistent with your eating and workout regiments! Also, be careful with the drinking, I almost want to tell you not to drink at all, but I don't want to ruin your…

I guess it just depends on how many calories you are getting. The whey protein I take has 270 calories for 52g of protein (hardly a meal). In your case, the best proteins shakes or mixes would be the ones that have the highest amount of protein per calories and low fat. Protein helps you feel not hungry and is essential…

I agree with this, additionally I use creatine and I think it helps, I do not use it year round, but take it on and off. Maybe it doesnt work, im not gonna stop though. When looking for a protein supplement, try to find ones that have the highest amount of protein for calories. The supplement I take has 52 grams of…

I use whey protein that I found on amazon for around 15 dollars. I like it because its got 52g protein per serving. Plain and simple, plant based proteins are incomplete, that doesnt mean they arent good, but they are missing at least one essential amino acid. Are you planning on lifting weights, or are you just looking…

Ok cool, 32 is still young so you dont really need to worry about your muscles flying away at night (wink). I think you can expect to get toned for sure, if you are being fairly intense than I would say expect to see some great definition and some mass added. It may take 3 or 4 months to see these results, but on average…

Ya they can be pricey. I paid 15 for mine, but I think there are better for just a little more.

Congratulations on your weight loss! that is really cool. Im guessing you probably want to get down to around 125 to 130. Basically 88 pounds to lose or 308,000 calories. if you can stay at eating 1700 calories, and burning 400 calories a day, your net will be 1300. (Anyway, you can get to 1300 anyway you like, as long as…

Ya just check Amazons reviews, thats usually the best way to go.

There are a lot of factors that go into this, What kinds of heavy lifting workouts are you doing, how much weight, and for how long? Genetics Age Gender Current weight As a 26 year old male, I can tell you that I gain about a pound of muscle a month from lifting 4 to 5 times a week. Danny off this seasons biggest loser…

I know I might sound crazy, but I can almost 100% guarantee it is your shoes. The fact that is just started happening maybe because you just started running points to your shoes. The jumping jacks brought it out because of the impact, you may be able to pick up some higher quality soles from a shoestore, do your homework…

Is it both legs? how long have you been running?

ok barefoot contessa

the measurements they take have a degree of error. .2 and .1 of a percent are really nothing. Also, you seem fairly skinny. If you workout without enough nutrients, you will canabalize muscle.

Shoes! imo thats where the problem starts. Try to get as good of a cushion in there as you can. Are your shoes to small? Do you have to cram your feet in them? how bout your arch and width? I like new balance for myself. Good luck

1200 calories a day would put you at roughly a 800 calorie deficit, so 800 x 80 = 64000/3500= 18.25lbs lost or 173 total lbs. Keep in mind your gonna build some muscle. I been watching the biggest loser this season, and one of the leading girls (Danny) has put on 19lbs of muscle sense the show started. I wouldn't expect…

Dont even touch cardio. seriously. Lift weights and do enough that it hurts you. Every week do more and more weight in your lifts. You should never stagnate.

for some reason neil diamond gets me going. dont tell anyone though
-
What system are you using to measure you BMI? and how are you finding out what your muscle mass is?
-
most guys consistently gain about an ounce of muscle a day while working out lifting weights - or so ive heard. Thats roughly a pound a month. Just takes time I guess.
