Well i went over my calories today by having a lousy Big Mac and Fries. :# Lol

Do's: Weigh/log your food (and drinks) Do some sort of Exercise Still eat foods you like (in moderation) Don'ts: Don't starve yourself Don't always go by the weight on the Scales (measure yourself regularly and go by how your clothes fit) Don't give up!

I'd go with Dad to the Brazilian place,...the food sounds wicked! Lol You've worked out enough today. Enjoy yourself!
-
Very interesting, what i've read so far. Will read the rest later when i have time......I want to look like her! Lol >>>>
-
That sounds so nice!

You can get some good bargains on Ebay actually. Not sure if you're in the UK, but MandM direct.com are pretty reasonable.
-
Lol! :) How about Prosecco? 1 glass is around 100 calories.
-
It seems as though you had this reaction because you haven't eaten any Cakes or Sweets etc. in a long time. I've read other posts whereby people have been eating mostly Non Processed Foods, then once they have something like a Burger or even Alcohol - they get a similar bad reaction. I eat processed foods all the time and…

Thighs are my problem area too. I Powerwalk and now have started lifting weights,.... so hopefully they'll firm up a bit.
-
Don't deprive yourself, just have something to eat! If you go over your calories, just make up for it by doing some extra exercise... (maybe go for a walk or run later).
-
What Foods do you actually class as "Clean"? Maybe try to eat more home cooked meals and have a take away on occasion. That's what i'm doing at the moment. I couldn't stick with [what most people class as clean eating] for too long.

Calves: 14" Thighs: 22" Weight: 128 Height: 5'4 Frame Size: Medium Body Fat: 25%(ish)

Yes, it's usually about 10-12 lbs. (Perhaps a little less if you are short)
-
Just Googled it,...very interesting! I actually like Cooking, but this would save so much time. Dont think i could cook so much in one go, but once a week cooking would do me fine.
-
Really? That's unfortunate. I Powerwalk in my local park (smooth pathway/some grassy areas), so i guess that makes a diffrerence.
-
Powerwalking is my main form of exercise now,...i love it, especially as i do it outdoors! When i was losing weight i used to walk 4-4.5 miles (50-60 mins) 5 times a week. Now i'm maintaining, i've cut it down to 3 miles, but it has so many health benefits and still burns a few extra calories. You're also less likely to…

Not the most nutritious meal going, but a McDonalds Quarterpounder w/cheese (518) and Medium fries (337) is pretty filling. Have that with a low cal drink and it's under 900 cals. If you get the small fries (which i never do ;) ), it'll be around 100 cals less.
-
I just make sure to never eat any fast food, heavy dinners or drink too much liquids the day before weigh in.
-
Yeah, i'd go with the stretchy Leggings etc. OR, look for bargains in the Sales......so you don't spend too much. Here in the UK, almost all the Stores are having early Summer Sales at the moment.
-
Exactly my point! I'm the same.

Some women do, but i think they're in the minority. Due to women's body shapes (especially Pear or Apple types), we tend to be slimmer in either the upper or lower body. For example, i can be very slim on top but my Legs don't necessarily match my upper half. Even if i lost another 10 pounds, my Thighs would still be…

I'm exactly the same. It's just our genetics i'm afraid. This is why im now maintaining, but started lifting weights (doing a lot of squat-style exercises to build more muscle in the Legs). My thighs are my problem area, so i'm hoping the lifting will help make them look more defined.

Good thread OP. ***Bookmarking, for ideas*** Breakfast: Apple, Nectarine - 130 Lunch: Hot Tuna Pasta (Wholewheat Pasta Twists, Homemade Pasta/Spaghetti Sauce, Kidney Beans, Tuna in Spring Water) - 475 Mid afternoon Snack: Wholewheat Pitta Bread, Mixed Salad, 4 Roast Beef Slices, Vinagrette Dressing, Chilli Sauce - 350…

Yep, this is similar to me. If i continued losing weight i'd be skin and bones on my upper body. I don't find it a problem eating more food at all though! :) but maybe eat more Nuts. A couple of handfuls of any sort of Nuts are worth 100's of Calories!

The thing is, those Primark Shorts are probably not a proper UK 12. I have clothes with the labels saying anything from a UK 6 to a 14! You just can't go by label sizes anymore. Why not try doing some resistance/weight training OP, [i'm gonna say the T word] to "Tone up". And buy some different Shorts! ;)
-
You overweight? That's just ridiculous. Lol I don't even bother with BMI anymore.....i'm all about Body Fat percentage.
-
Can i ask what size you are @carlabillie1 - as it doesn't seem to me like you are "overweight". BMI charts aren't really that good an indicator.
-
They all give out different readings, so i just add them all up and divide them which gives the average number.... and i just use that as my TDEE.
-
Try Powerwalking in the Park maybe? I Powerwalk 4 miles a day (at least 4 times a week) and it can burn quite a few calories.
-
Yes, when you first start maintaining you can lose a few pounds in the beginning. Also, if this continues to happen over the next few weeks maybe your TDEE could be slightly higher than 2300 (especially if you do a lot of Cardio).
