Jarrow's B12 form Amazon, you let it dissolve under your tongue where it gets absorbed directly into the blood stream. Tablets that you swallow don't make it into the blood stream before it gets destroyed by the acid in your stomach.

I'm also Vegan and on Levothyroxine, and was told to not eat an soy based foods as it makes the Levo ineffective. Any fermented soy like Tempeh and Miso is ok.

Turn your veggies into soup, the added water content makes you feel fuller for longer!

That's happened to me, I wasn't including enough fat in my diet. I introduced healthy fats like, avocado, nuts, ground flaxseed etc, and all became normal again!
-
Sounds good, what's the recipe/amounds you use? please thanks.

It happened to me, turned out it was lack of fat, as soon as I introduced some healthy fats into my diet all was sorted and back to normal!

I went from vegetarian to vegan 6 months ago, I did the transition over a period of 4 months by cutting out 1 dairy/animal product at a time and as I opt for the low fat diet anyway it wasn't too difficult you just got to plan ahead to avoid relying on pasta or rice. Feel free to add me as a friend, my diary is open!

Sounds ilke what you said, a typical meat eater reaction who can't understand a Vegan diet. Unless you're eating pasta and rice all day I can't understand why a Vegan diet would be higher in Carbs than eating animal products. I eat between 8 - 10 pieces of fruit and veg a day and my protein I get from chia seeds, nuts and…

What an amazing step for you, well done !

The same happened to me on a 1200 calories a day diet but as soon as I reintroduced fat into my diet my cycle recovered!

Sounds a bit extreme to me. When I was first diagnosed I wasn't told to limit my exercise or diet at all, obviously I had to restrict my cardio because of the palpatations but the betablockers sorted that out and I exercised according to how I felt. Is this advice from an Endocriologist or a GP? If you havn't already you…

I've been veggie for years too and very careful about getting enough protein as I do strength training 5 x a week and eat between 1400 - 1600 calories a day. I do eat carbs but keep things like bread and pasta to a minimum. My best high protein foods, are: Whole Almonds Greek Yoghurt Cottage Cheese Quorn products Eggs…

Just what I was looking for, thanks!

I had the same problem as you, lost weight on 1200 a day for 18 months working out 5 days a week. I was so happy but then my preiods stopped and I knew I needed to re-think my diet. I realised I wasn't actually eating any fat of any type which apparently can affect your cycle. I revamped my diet to include some healthy…

I love love love this program, it's hilarious "I'm 19 stone but I eat healthy and I don't drink!" what about the 20 shots in one night you forgot to mention?? Love it!!

I put on nearly 2 stone, I was so hungry all the time and depressed so just ate, but as soon as I started the medication I could think straight, started easting healthier food and lost my ravenous appetitie.

Sweet Potato, thought I hated it now I love it, especially baked with cottage cheese or in soup!
