This. My children are not vegan though I eat vegan 99% of the time (sometimes I cheat; I am vegan only by choice for health reasons), and I prepare vegan family meals (supper). They eat meat, eggs, and dairy for their own meals (breakfast, lunch). I have several cousins who are vegan and raise their children vegan. They…

TBH, I drink the greens. I love them. They taste good, and it (to me) is better than taking a little vitamin that is going to come out looking the same as it did going in. :-x Seriously. Google that ****. I am not a distributor. I started getting them on auto delivery about a year ago. I don't always remember to drink it.…

I make bread. A very simple, whole wheat with added bran. Yeast, salt, sugar, WW flour, bran, oil, and water. When I buy bread, I get whatever is made without milk, with whole wheat, and using real sugar instead of HFCS.

I have my fitbit one that I wear in my pocket, and I just upgraded my Polar RCX3 HRM to a Polar M400 fitness tracker. It came with a chest strap with blue tooth, it has GPS for when I walk, run, or ride bike. I love it!!! Polar is the best HRM, imo, so when I saw they came out with the fitness tracker and it was time for a…

Tell him that this guy says you can get plenty of protein even being vegan. ;) http://www.forksoverknives.com/vegan-bodybuilder-plant-based-diet/ And so do they: http://www.forksoverknives.com/father-daughter-team-living-examples-of-plant-fueled-fitness-and-success/?fb_ref=939346137ff24cb38fd075139f718fb4-Facebook

I love my fitbit adjustments. On a day that I am at my goal of at least 13,000 steps, it adds on a good amount of calories. I noticed today that when I got home from the gym (I did arc and elliptical today, so it tracked "steps"), the adjustment was almost exactly what it should have been according to my HRM's reading on…

I *heart* Planet Fitness. I love the 30 minute express workout; it's always super clean too. There are a lot of hot, ripped lifters at my PF. Both men and women. For 20 bucks a month, I get all the amenities (not that I tan, but the massage beds are awesome) and I can take a guest every day (I have teen daughters who like…

YOU LOOK AWESOME! Thank you for sharing!

I play a lot of REO Speedwagon. I'm old. LOL One of my favorites is Keep Pushin'. I also love Back on the Road Again and Ridin' the Storm Out. And I listen to NKOTBSB. :)

2.5 miles on the treadmill today; 1 mile walk yesterday. Total so far is 8.5 miles. I may be doing some stationary biking later.
-
I'm in! I did 2.5 miles walking in the park and another 1 mile on the treadmill. Does elliptical count? I did 1.5 miles there too. :) 3.5 miles (5.0 if the elliptical counts).

I retired my Polar ft7 and got a Polar TCX3. :) I have a brand new Garmin Forerunner that my daughter never used (well, she did once)... but I like the simplicity of my Polar, so I haven't tried it. I also have a Fitbit One. *LOVE* it.

I have five kids, a dog, a job, and a household to run (single mom) and still manage. I run, I hit the gym ($20.00 a month Planet Fitness--I can take one of my daughters with me for free if I go in the evenings), do home workout videos, or do a 10 minute Tabata type workout--whatever fits on any given day. When I was stuck…

I love my fitbit! I have it linked to my ipod, phone, and desk top. It's awesome. :) Edit to add: I have fitbit One.

I love every single one of the RawRev bars I've tried. I haven't tried all of them, but eventually, I'll have them all tried. They aren't necessarily high protein... but they contain nuts, sprouted seeds, etc, so there's some protein. http://www.rawrev.com/

Don't like eggs, don't eat them. I eat what I like. You should too...

TDEE=2093 -20%= 1674 -15%= 1779 -10%= 1883 (being closer to goal, probably where you would want to be). According to http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ There's also a group that helps with this. I think it's Eat More to Lose or something along those lines.

If you legit missed a day, they shouldn't reset. You aren't consecutively logged in anymore. I logged in on my phone, and for three days it said the same number, then I reset my phone, and my days were started at one that day... that's a reason to have it fixed. When I missed a day, I kissed my numbers goodbye, pulled up…

I like working the circuit at Planet Fitness. Yeah, I know people says it's not a "real gym," but that's BS. The circuit is awesome! I love that even if I don't do anything else that day as far as exercise goes, I've combined strength training with cardio in a HIIT fashion. Perfection in 26 minutes.

I much prefer AM. I feel sick to my stomach if I workout after eating. Even if I wait an hour or even two.

Literally, your post had me in tears! What an amazing accomplishment! BOTH OF YOU! :) Congrats!!!!

BABY STEPS! (when my journey initially began) when I was over 200, my goal was 199. Then it was 175. After I got there, it was 160. After that, I wanted 145. My "ideal" weight says I should be 118, but I'm here to tell you, I'd be dead if I were 118. No way, no how, could I EVER be 118. At 135-137, I was a size 2, hips…

I would prefer a low sugar protein shake added with healthy snacks throughout the day to a "meal replacement" shake. Those things are loaded with sugar. I made a shake this morning after my workout with Lactaid fat free, 2% cottage cheese, peanut butter, and a scoop of vanilla protein (If I currently had some spinach, I'd…

awesome!!! :)

I wake up at 4 AM just to get to the gym for the express workout (Planet Fitness). It's half an hour of a combined cardio/strength type workout (much like HIIT, really) and though I hate waking up, I always feel better after I workout and have more energy on the days I workout. I have five kids, a job, a house... I get…

Eat what you like... and follow the caloric recommendation from MFP (which adds to your intake the exercise calories). Good luck!

Nope. Private.

BAHAHAH! I remember a thread EXACTLY like this (the person had lost a whopping 2 pounds in like... a year and was offering advice on how people were doing it all wrong...) It was quite comical. :-P

Because the diary police are lurking everywhere... and pounce when least expected to hurt feelings and make people feel even worse than they already did...

We are on a fitness website, and I was talking to others who pretty much know that the "max hr" is 220-age and what it pertains to (because of their conversation) I was speaking specifically to the person who said that it was BS that the other poster was running with that particular % of "max hr" for an extended amount of…
