That's crazy talk. My diet consists almost entirely of carbs, and I'm losing weight. I'm eating between 1500 and 1900 calories a day of all the carbs too.... And absolutely zero meats at all (or cheese, milk, yogurt) And I'm not hungry...

I find this truly hard to believe....

Even when I was running 5 miles a day several days a week, wearing a size 2, and going to the gym and had perfect blood pressure and cholesterol, I was "overweight" by the standard chart. I weighed in at 133-136 depending on the time of day and or month I stepped on the scale. So you're saying I should have been penalized…

OH MY GOSH! I just wore them for the first time (capris; I don't wear shorts). I got them in the mail yesterday (I ordered that same day, but they must be in high demand, as I had to wait for them to be in stock). I LOVE THEM. Thanks so much for the recommendation! I got two pair, and I know they'll be my favorites!

I'd love losing a pound a week! You're doing great!

I need these pants!!!! How are the fit? I found that Brooks run a little small.

I recommend reading Forks over Knives and making your transition the way they suggest in the book. also--chocolate covered Katie. She's amazing. She goes over what she eats in a typical day, and she has awesome recipes. www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com

Uh. Your math is very skewed. 13-14 g is very little compared to TWENTY OUNCES. A serving of 100g is only about 110 calories. 13 g is only a half ounce. That's miniscule. Multiply that by 40, and that's how much this person had in one sitting. That's 100 g of PROTEIN in one meal. Before adding anything else...

WRONG. One ounce of boneless skinless breast is roughly 30 calories. Math is spot on. His log says 555 g. That's 19.5xxxxx ounces. 588 calories. https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/generic/chicken-breast-skinless?portionid=4751536&portionamount=1.000…

That's TWENTY OUNCES OF CHICKEN AT ONE SITTING. Are you insane? Not everybody sits down and eats five servings of chicken. Or any chicken.

I'm 41, and trying to lose now SUCKS. I can be within my calorie range (not too low, not too high) and still freaking gain weight. I don't get it! :-/

I have found that if I salt and pepper my lettuce and veggies, that I can eat it with very little dressing if any at all. I just dip the fork now typically. The salt and pepper on the salad itself adds enough flavor, that I get by with only using maybe a half TBSP of dressing...

Iced Americano extra shot black. I can't help. I don't do that stuff. I usually get hot Americano. But they have sugar free caramel or sugar free vanilla, and you can get either skim, soy, or almond milk.

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge/Fitbit-not-accurate-counting-steps-while-I-m-seating-or-asleep/td-p/895993 Lots and lots and lots of people report the same thing. It isn't just my cook and me. ;)

well, the cook at my work gets twice as many steps as me (I'm talking he is always at 30,000 steps working in a box area)... and I'm the one doing the running! I know it's because of his hands being very busy. Do you work with your hands a lot? He is constantly working with his, and it is counting it as steps because of…

I have fitbit One, and I personally think it's a LOT more accurate than the ones you wear on your wrist. If you work with your hands a lot, the wearable watch one is registering steps! Mine is worn on the waist and only actually tallies when my legs are a'movin'. I love my fitbit. I also have a Polar m400. It consistently…

My heart rate goes up by 10-15 beats when I swing my arms with walking as opposed to holding on. That obviously means a better calorie burn... I don't like holding on. :) I just make sure I can be comfortably paced without holding. I only grab hold during a water break (one hand on the rail and one on the water) or when I…

I really love the 30 minute workout! I do it the way it's SUPPOSED to be used and follow the red light/green light system. It's an awesome workout. I follow that with either some walk/jog intervals on the treadmill or some HIIT on either arc or elliptical. :)

You're almost 50?! :o You look awesome!!!!

If I eat before I run, I feel like I'll puke. :s I eat heartily before bed when I know I'll be up and running early. And have a banana as soon as I'm done.

So you condone perpetuating the problem that a school told a child 5'2" and 120 pounds that she is obese? Yeah. Nevermind that it made her not want to eat FOR YEARS. And she was never remotely fat. She STILL struggles with her image at 5'5" and 128! She's perfect... but "the school said she's obese and she has gained…

It's only pointing out that 1) the infant growth charts are based on formula fed babies (not breastfed, and THEREFORE NOT APPLICABLE). and 2) the child growth charts are based on the Average American diet (therefore, NOT APPLICABLE TO VEGAN CHILDREN). PS-I formula fed also... so... yeah. It was simply making a…

Force fed an eating disorder? This is laughable. The main reason is because my daughter came home from school (PUBLIC) devastated one day. They had done the height/weight tests and slapped labels on them and sent them home with their fresh new stickers including, "normal" "overweight" and "obese" Oh. And shan't forget…
