Thanks everyone. :) I'm 36...I've done the calculations before. Cardiologist says he wants me to stay under 185 if possible. But going from a sitting position (heart at rest is around 80-100 bpm) to standing takes it to 120's as it is. It can be exhausting...but I really want to do some training. I had a wonderful MFP…

Yeah, killing myself isn't probably on my "to do" list. LOL. I spoke with my cardiologist about activity about a year ago and he said as long as I can tolerate it, I can do it. Try and keep my bpm under 185 (I'm 36). This is impossible for me - I'm a runner and I cannot keep it at that no matter how hard I try. But 200 or…

Thank u!

OOPS!! Thanks Kim. I'm not on MFP enough anymore to see the new changes. :)

How did everyone do this week? I don't see a thread for week 12...
-
Jennifer Anniston...only cause my husband is madly in love with her
-
Hmm....totally TMI, but TOM is here and that explains so much with my weight gain. STUPID TOM!! LOL I'll continue to talk to you gals on here if you want...you're all the best!

So glad you got answers too - (((HUGS)))

This is what happens when I disappear for a week!! HOLY CRAP KIM what a horrible crashed up car and how scary with your daughter! So glad she's ok!! :flowerforyou:
-
I was warned I may feel tired in the first few weeks of taking them - would be on a very lose dose since my blood pressure is around 105/70. Thanks for the info!! I wonder if I'm the only one on MFP with a heart condition - LOL
-
Thanks - you're sweet. :) Yes I am seeing one - pretty sure I will try it - will be interesting to see how I feel with exercise!

WOW you are SUCH an inspiration!
-
LOL!!!

Hahahahaha! Yes'm!

Ok...could someone tell me what the losses are for this week in our team, who needs help, etc? i'm a visual person and am confused...just don't want anyone out of our group and would be willing to take a disadvantage for next week if it means saving someone. Also, how does our team look as a whole?

HAHA I know exactly what you mean about the lower weight! I was happy to see the 173 this morning but knew it will probably kick me in the rear next week. Ahhh, I see what you mean about the number manipulation. Well...I'll take a look at the numbers later tonight and I'll figure it out.
-
Do whatever you need to do - I'm honestly hanging on by a thread - I'm sure I will be out next week. The 173 is great but it's also because I'm a bit dehydrated from a stomach bug. Before I got it, I was 1 lb up and that's probably my true weight. So next week will be intresting for me unless I'm REALLY careful about what…

Wow, way to go everyone - so proud!! SO SO PROUD!

Does it switch to different intervals like the 30 day shred? I'm interested! Do you use hand wieghts or what kind of equipment would I need for it?
-
I'm in need of a new work out once the snow falls (which is suposed to tomorrow - boooo hooooo!). Need to combat the hybernation thing I do this time of year (and feeling the need to eat and eat and eat and eat and....) Talked to a classmate today who manages our local GMC store and he recommended a couple things for me to…

RI30...is that a Jillian one? I can google, but I'm too lazy.
-
Yeah...Juicy Lucy in St. Paul is the original one, isn't it? I love their burgers and their fries and hamburger buns (homemade from the neighbor bakery) is sooooooo good. I'm salivating! I'm keeping this short because I need to run. You're all doing awesome - each and every one of you!
-
AGREED!! And parenting is a key factor as well. Just by you posting for an opinion shows how much you care about your kids and their future...your child has already been given a great advantage.

Quote me all you want, but every place is different - in our area, public school is not released for religous education, and children are discliplined for bringing up religion in our public school. That was how we based our decision - plus our school system is a joke. My husband is a police officer and sees the behind the…
-
My kids go to private...this decision was based on the fact that we wanted them to be able to say the word "God" without getting in trouble, etc. Their standards/grading school is very strict - but they work hard for those grades and that hard work will pay off for when or if they decided to go to college some day. We also…

I've stayed within cals for 2 days now and am starved right now...which is a good sign I've been eating like a cow lately and finally behaving myself. Upping my cals to 1400 per day so far has REALLY been good for me mentally. I feel for the first time in a long time that I'm going to lose weight and more than .4 a week!…

Erin is always awesome - so proud of her! Thanks for the website address!!! I will check it out! Hoping this 1400 thing works for now but we will see - I'm the same way - hate seeing myself in the red. Kim - did the scale end up going down for you? I was the 176 but not the other part. Praying Heather does well and saves…
