  • hi...i use to work the overnight shift. i counted mid-night to mid-night. worked fine for me. i also plan my meals and log food early...if i don't eat it, then i'll delete the entry before completing my diary for that day.

  • Thanks for the post! Congrats on loosing your 9 pounds so far. I am pretty happy about my 5, so I can imagine how you must feel. Getting the portion size under control has been a bit of a challenge for me too. I measure most of my foods and I'm purchasing a scale real soon! =)

  • hi- welcome to mfp! it's kind of easy to get addicted to this website. most days i input meals before eating to make sure i don't go over. it took a few weeks before the scale moved for me, so be patient and stay motivated. hope you win the contest at your job!
