Yes I too have hypothyroidism, I've had it for 11-12 years now. Since that time I put on 90 lbs. I've recently lost 55 of those pounds but plateaued. That's when I found EM2WL. I was very nervous about eating my TDEE because of hypo and didn't want to gain anything back and I have been eating 2000-2400 calories a day for…

I too do TurboFire and enjoy it, I cannot do it atm because of a injury but will start back up when it's better. There are tons of Hiit training videos on youtube, also women's fitness rx and muscle and fitness hers has some routine also. Tabata is good too.

Great suggestions thanks heybales. I have an old bowflex here at home that has leg attachments, pull-up bar, curl bar and lots of free weights. I mostly use the barbells or curlbar. I cannot afford a gym membership right now. I forgot to include I have hyper extended knees (I just recently discovered) I don't know if that…

Wow amazing transformation! You look like a complete different person and I bet your body thanks you for all the hard work!

I personally don't care if a woman has them or not. It's her body. I don't think I'd ever get it done. I do know a few women do get them not because they want to be bigger and perky but because the ones they had nearly killed them and they had to get a Mastectomy.

I posted this on FB but I feel it's better to post here in the Group: Long term: 1. Work towards fitting into the dress I got married in by working out 5-6 times a week and eating %15 less then my TDEE. 2. Do an unassisted pull or chin up. 3. Build more muscle mass by getting into a weight lifting routine. Short term: 1.…

Thanks and hello, I have completed a round of P90 & a round of P90x. I'm currently doing TurboFire and lifting a few times a week.

Not bad for my first day eating more. My intake was 2277 calories, 587 burned from exercise (using a HRM), net 1690. I had to have a late sandwich to hit my BMR. Wow this is a lot of food. I did have a bunch of energy today also. My macros came out to be P/C/F 39/35/26 My goal is 40/30/30. On the down side, I'm already…

Thank you and way to go starting P90x. It's not easy but worth it. It's funny that you bring up the TDEE and BMR, I just figured everything up and started doing that. I'm doing TurboFire right now & will incorporate weight lifting into that too. Thanks
-
Thank you  I was wanting to try the 15% cut but after reading up a bit about BMR and hypothyroidism I'm kind of nervous I'll give it a try :frown: (fingers crossed)

I just started TurboFire. So far so good. Are you doing t25 or p90x3?

It took me about six months to work up to HIIT training. I started at 254lbs with herniated disk in my lower back and both knees sound like a goat chewing on a tin can. It takes time but the more you can strengthen yourself the easier it gets on your joints. You'll get there, it just takes time. GL

Just the thought of McD's makes me sick

I was one of those women. I was diagnosed 12-13 years ago. I used that as an excuse but I am losing weight and reaching my goals. No more excuses for me. Might have to work a bit harder but I'm worth it :)
-
I didn't think I could lose weight for a long time. I just excepted it, but then the extra weight was causing back and knee issues and that was my breaking point. I've lost 50lbs in 6 months from diet and exercise. I want to lose another 50. Motivation and accountability is great. It does help when you have others in the…

At first my goal was to feel better. My knees and back was hurting me because of all the extra weight I was carrying around. So I reached my first goal which was to lose 50lbs. My back is stronger but my knees still bother me. That took me 6 months to do and I have a new goal in mind. I want to fit back into the dress I…
