i am not to goal yet but i am eating LCHF and limiting my cals. I have lost 117 pounds in 11 months without exercise. About 20 pounds to go
-
eating low carb high fat...3 egg omelette with bacon, ham, sausage peppers, onions and mushrooms in it

you goal and mine are similar weight wise. I chose mine sort of at random. When i reach it I will be 40 pounds heavier than when i graduated 37 years ago. I have about 25 to go. I will decide then if thats good or if i want to lose more. As far as knowing its right...my crystal ball sucks, I will have to play it by ear

I am eating low carb high fat (LCHF) since january. I have lost 115 pounds without exercise, without being hungry or having cravings. A great website is dietdoctor.com you do not have to buy or join anything. Lots of good reading. There are other sites too and groups here at MFP

for me....family members say that i have lost enough, but i know better

mine are 5% carbs, 70% fats and 25% protein. I used a formula that i found on dietdoctor.com I self imposed 1500 cals even though MFP suggests something like 2000. The formula goes like this for "Strict low carb"...20 grams of carbs and 1 gram of protein for every pound of your GOAL weight and the rest is fats. So when you…

there are some good flavored seltzer waters out there. As far as habits...weigh regularly, maybe every day ( i do), log everything and be honest. After that healthy eating is almost like arguing politics or religion...everyone has an opinion they will fight for

i am doing low carb high fat. that means "moderate" protein. Based on what i read and my goals (I am trying to get down to 220 pounds from 355.) I try to get 117 gr of fats, 100 gr of protein and 20 gr or less of carbs. I started in January and have lost 115 pounds without exercise.
-
i weigh every day and can see trends and make predictions. I read some place that weighing everyday helps keep you honest and ultimately helps you lose. Remember weight fluctuates

thats fine, my point was that the risk of getting the flu is fairly low. obviously everyone has to decide for themselves
