I am reading The Hunger Games Trilogy as well. Just finished Book 1 day before yesterday, and am probably about 2/3 of the way through the second. Am actually looking for ideas of what to read after I finish reading it, so thanks for the thread!

Well... I didn't reach my goal of 40 miles, because life and work seem to have gotten in the way. However, I made a slow start of 16.5 miles. Maybe I will drop my goal to 30 for next month, and will definitely work harder towards reaching that goal. I will definitely keep pushing on tho. Congrats to everyone who reached…

I think that if you let them go along on your exercises, it's wonderful. I think you are teaching by example. As far as the counting calories, not so sure about that one. Maybe explain to them the reason you are doing it. I think they are old enough to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy, but explain…

So, no need to feel bad about your weight. I am 5'2" and range in weight from 194.4- 199.0. A lot of people think that I weigh a lot less than I do. I wouldn't put the emphasis so much on weight, but on how you look and feel. It's about being healthy not skinny.

Did c25k week 2 day 1 for 2 miles. Brings my total to 11.5 miles so far.

I also tend to look through the list that is given when you type in the food in and use the one with the most calories. Better to over estimate than under estimate.

Didn't get my work out in last night. So I got up at 5:00 AM this morning and did it. Moved 1.5 miles and am going to walk to work, which will add another mile. So total for today will be 2.5 miles.
