I will be patient! 😅 November 1 100.8 November 2 100.0 November 3 100.4…
  • I would love to join this challenge if it is not too late
  • My fav pasta recipes right now are: Farfalle with roasted tomato garlic sauce http://chefmichaelsmith.com/recipe/farfalle-with-roasted-tomato-garlic-sauce/#.UZOQ-aKG3To and Orecchiette with Broccoli - my husband I like to add red pepper flakes to ours but the kids prefer it without…
  • Yay! I finally figured out how to post pictures!!!! So here is a picture of my new bike...
  • Wowzers! That is hot!!! Not sure how I would cope with it being that hot; of course I had to google convert it from Fahrenheit to Celsius to figure out just how hot that is  I live on the east coast of Canada in Nova Scotia and it is just a nice temperature here by the ocean, maybe a little to cool for some of you!…
  • Oooh! Family pictures is a great idea! I am sad to say we haven't had any professional family photos taken yet as I have been embarrassed by my weight and knew I wouldn't want to display them or give them away. So when I get to goal weight I am going to hire a professional photographer to take some family pictures at the…
  • I just love my new bike! I used to mountain bike, but my main companion is now my 6 year old daughter and we mostly ride on rails to trails like this... http://www.flickr.com/photos/earle/5654874670// She is on a one speed bike so I thought it would be fun for me too, although the coaster style brakes took a bit of getting…
  • Sounds like a plan! Tonight I will try to one on my toes. I just downloaded an e-book from the library called ``7 weeks to 100 push-ups``. I am not planning on doing that many but thought it might be good to learn more about proper form.
  • Last year, I told myself if I lost weight I would buy myself a beach cruiser bike for my birthday this year. I didn`t lose the weight, but my family bought me my dream bike anyway. I LOVE MY BIKE!!! So now I am using it to help me lose the weight! I will have to think about a new reward, maybe a weekend away and a…
  • Hi everyone it is nice to meet you! I am 41 years old, so no worries riouxt you are no longer the oldest :) I am married to a great guy and am the mama of two amazing little girls ages 2 and 6. Being overweight never used to be an issue for me and through my teens and early twenties I tried to gain weight (and as they…
  • Things I love about me... I love that I’m an earthy mama. I love my wild and crazy curls! Although in the past I must admit I longed to have sleek controllable straight hair… slowly over the last decade I have come to LOVE my curls. Oh, and I also love the fact that at 41 I still have to search to find a few grey hairs. I…
  • I live on the east coast of Canada and was already sleeping by the time the challenge was posted, so I did the challenge this morning. Had to do the push-ups on my knees but someday I hope to be able to do them the proper way!

  • I would love to join the group too and I just have to say how amazing your fridge looks! I want my fridge to look like that too :) I recently started washing all my fruit and veggies as soon as I come home from the grocery store and it has made a huge difference for everyone in my house. Such a time saver! After seeing…
  • Wow! That is a lot of steps! Any idea how many kilometres that amounts to? I struggle to get in 10,000 steps a day, but I will try to amp it up this week :) I lost my pedometer so I will try and find a good app for my phone. There are so many to chose from... can anyone recommended one for the iPhone?
  • Oh your dog should have lots of fun there! Even though it doesn't sound like a really fun job at least you will probably burn lots of calories stacking wood. I am home with a sick child again so it doesn't look like I am going to get much exercise in again today. This first year at daycare has been rough!
  • It was my weigh in day too but the scale stayed the same :( It did say I was down 2% in body fat though but I am not sure how accurate the scale is for that sort of measurement. For exercise today I jumped rope with my daughter... lots of fun but I am feeling it in my shins. I guess I will have to warm up better and…

  • Oh, but on a good note I did manage to drive past the Tim Horton's (all 3 of them!) on the way home without stopping for an iced cappuccino. I haven't had one in two weeks and my willpower is starting to waver.
  • I have done that a bit today! I went for a small walk on my lunch break and I planned on doing some weights tonight. Now that I am home from work, made supper and got my oldest daughter ready for soccer practice I am feeling pretty wiped out. My house is a mess and I am pretty sure once I finally get it cleaned up I am…
  • My absolute favorite salmon dish is Caribbean coconut crusted salmon (http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipes/Fruit/recipe.html?dishid=6823) with pineapple salsa (http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipes/caribbean-salsa/recipe.html?dishid=6825). It is so delicious!
  • I am going to use your tip of the day too! My youngest daughter has been sick most of the week and the only way she was comfortable enough to sleep was when I was holding her. I didn't want to wake her with frequent bathroom trips so I didn't drink my usual amount of water. Feeling very dehydrated today! it is raining here…
  • You are amazing! I really enjoyed reading your blog and I love your attitude - very inspirational :)
  • Very inspiring! You must be thrilled with your results even though it is expensive to have to replace all of your clothes  I am just about to do day 1 of the 30 day shred... anyone else tried it?
  • Wow! Thanks for sharing... you look amazing!
  • I was happy to see so many older kids still nursing too. My daughter is 2 1/2 and still nursing although it is mostly just at night now. My first daughter nursed until she was just past 3 years when I became pregnant with my second so I am not sure how the weaning will go this time!
  • I have wondered about this too... I only stopped breastfeeding my oldest when I was pregnant again so I don`t know whether or not this is the case for me. Of course I have a lot more to lose than 5-10 lbs so I can`t blame it all (if any) on breastfeeding
  • Awww! Lucky you to have such a cute workout partner :)
