Just a thought.... You upped your calories by 500-600 a day for one week. That is about 3500 extra calories, or one pound. The weight increase may have been the extra calories consumed.

I agree with arc918. I can walk 4.1 (@ 5% incline) on the treadmill will hardly any effort, but my "running" pace is 6.0, or a 12 minute mile. I have recently brought it down to 5 or a 10 minute mile without too much effort, but that feels like the top speed I can do without getting hurt. I tried to do a few intervals in…
