i dont know much about the bodybugg, but how does it know you burn that many calories per day? is it a HRM that you wear all day? because lets say you put your activity down as none on this site, then it is going to give you the least amount of calories possible that you will burn, if you just sit on the couch all day.…

this is very common. same thing happens to me and i get very very frustrated too, in fact i had weigh in day on wednesday and lost nothing and so i decided to eat everything in sight! don't be like me haha. you will have a big weight loss coming soon!!! i've heard it takes 2 or 3 weeks for a lot of people so don't worry!

wow what a story! i'm 5'8 and my highest weight during pregnancy was 208 and now am at 170 and want to get to 140. so sounds like we are sort of similar in that way. i would love to be friends and help encourage you! you can do it!!

i would suggest the polar F7. that's what i got from amazon.com and it was around 80 bucks. make sure you get one with a chest strap as those are the most accurate. it's encouraging working out with one for sure, makes you work a little harder :)

wow you've lost so much already, great job!! can't say i have the same exact situation but i'm 5'8 170 lbs and want to end up at 140. so i have about 30 lbs to go i'm a new mommy (well a 7 month old) and i'm 23 years old and i don't think there is a person on earth that likes junk food/ sweets as much as i do ;)

i bought the exact same one for christmas from amazon as well, i haven't had those problems (yet). but amazon is usually really good with taking things back so i would definitely try that

i don't count that "after burn" i turn my HRM off right after workout and log that and then whatever comes after is just extra in my opinion :)

i think MFP is only supported on the android market for now, so it won't work on apple products

thanks everyone i will check out those sites mentioned. and i USED to be able to run for 60 minutes, not yet though haha. and nope not training for anything just want to lose weight, although if i could do a marathon some time in my life i'd be sooooo happy.

you should get a heart rate monitor and then you will have an accurate reading :)

i eat my extra, and i give myself 400 extra for breast feeding. although i haven't seen much of a weight loss either so maybe i shouldnt be! but i haven't tried toooooooo hard yet. i think its best to eat the calories to make sure there are enough nutrients for the little one and yourself :)

i was listening to the radio and they said a REALLY popular gift for kids this year is something called a paper guitar, it makes anything sound good. i'm not sure exactly if it's called that but thats what they called it on the radio. they said it was about 24 bucks :)

I don't know if you pump ever but if you do you can kind of estimate how much your baby is getting, thats what i do... and you lose 20 calories per oz. typically the average amt per day is 25 ozs so that's an extra 500 calories. obviously each person is different though so those are just the basics :)

i was super bummed when i dieted and exercised super hard the first week and was expecting big results and saw no weight loss at all, but ever since it has slowly come off... so just give it some time and you will see the results too!! :)
