  • Thats awesome Piqueaboo!! Congrats on losing the weight again and continuing on!! You got this!
  • Thank you for your input Cqbkaju :) I will take into consideration but for now I will focus on just running and some body weight exercise until I feel more comfortable doing serious sweating exercises
  • I have no doubt that we both can lose every pound again :) just gotta be firm in our eating and exercise. And have a great support group
  • I love my fitbit charge hr and would love to have friends to workout with and keep me motivated! https://www.fitbit.com/user/3DFQ25
  • I've been working around it.. I post my food on here then go check my calorie info on the Fitbit page. It shows how much I have gone over and such without me having to worry about if it is right. For me it is syncing fine that way while MFP won't show my fitbit info
  • Turn on some fun music and dance around, get your heart rate up. Leave the music on then jump on that treadmill and if at any point you get bored then jump off and dance around some more. As long as you are moving, you are burning.... calories lol
  • Hi all! I am just over 210lbs and would like to get down to at least 160. My hubby loves my chubbiness so I can't get rail thin, which I doubt I could do anyways, but I'd like to get down closer to a healthy weight. Would love to have friends and support as I try this again. Once I was able to get down to 165 and I was…
  • Awesome!! Thank you so much. I look forward to motivating and competing with you
  • I am such a huge geek as well! I even have Darth Vader's theme as my main workout tune. I could run for hours listening to that!! I am gonna go ahead and send you a friend request. Have you been watching Arrow and The Flash? Ugh.. sooo good!! I'm into all things geeky so feel free to geek out with me ANYTIME!!

  • Confession: I'm only losing weight so I don't look like my mother and end up attracting someone like her husband. I never want my daughter to experience what I have. I look so much like my mom that I color my hair and keep it cut short. But now I see her body on mine and I want it gone. Confession 2: I am typing this while…
  • I'm about the same as you. I'm also a 27 year old stay at home mom. I have 2 wonderful children who keep me moving but not moving enough. I want to be able to go outside and play with them and not get beyond worn out. And I saw a pic of myself that made me want to just curl up in a ball and cry. I went to a friend's…
  • Aww my daughter was born last July. My oldest is almost 10. After my run this morning my son met me at his bus stop with a bottle of water. He's so awesome. Yay for getting healthy again! I'm going to try to keep this up. I'm supremely lazy and my daughter isn't quite on a schedule yet. Should be fun trying to get this…
  • because then I'd have to open a whole new tab!! and type something! nah jk.. I just don't want to go and do something that may not be considered safe and end up hurting myself. Just because its on youtube doesn't mean its safe :)
  • depends on if I make a smoothie that day or not. Usually I do pretty well and stick to just water with some Mio mixed in but when I have my smoothies it can be up over 200 cals
  • JM actually recommends doing it only 4 days a week with 3 rest days mixed in. So I just try to do it every other day or at least during the week and then take the weekend off. I find that it is getting easier as well.
  • getting ready to go downstairs and do day 2! ahhh!! But I'm excited to see this through. My body is yelling at me cuz its also TOM but oh well. I will kick but and be awesome!
  • I usually put it as 20 mins of circuit training because at the end its supposed to be close to 20 mins of work out and 10 mins of warm up/cool down
  • thanks for all the information. I fixed the chicken as best as I could... Now to go eat it and decide on how I want to start working out..
  • made the group if anyone wants to join it http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/11135-30ds-1-11-13
  • I will join in too! I started this a while back and never finished. I liked what I did see from it so I will do it again! I say we start a group :) I'm also on skinnyno if anyone else wants to join me on there! I'm going downstairs to do it right now! after I put my chicken in the oven... good luck to all and feel free to…
  • do you like peppermints? I keep a bag full next to my bed because I had the same problem. 1 is less than 5 cals and it cures my sweet tooth. or keep some low cal yogurt in the fridge and go for that instead of the candy. but if you have enough cals for a snack size candy in the middle of the night then don't deny yourself.…
  • I don't avoid them. I work them in. Carbs and sugars are not horrible for you in small amounts. I usually have a snack size candy bar everyday. I just make sure to enter it in first thing in the morning and then go from there. (not saying I eat it first thing in the morning). One way you are sure to fail is if you deny…
  • oh no sorry nothing like that. There is this website where you can go and look at it and it will tell you at what place you are at on the road to Rivendell, the elf home in Lord of the Rings. I'm looking for something similar but from a different book. The trip from VA to OR sounds cool tho. I just can think of anymore…
  • bump please help. I find the thought of finding out how far I walked to a place pretty cool all in all
  • I usually go for a run at hardberger park or mcallister park.
  • I don't know if it will help with the pain but I do Jumping Jacks and lunges before I set out. Loosens up my body and my muscles so I don't get the ab pain that you were talking about. also the exercise where you start out flat on your feet, then you stand up on your toes and pull your glutes in tight... that one is a good…
  • I'm trying to get mine down to under 30 mins. a little less than a 10 min mile :)
  • between being a single mom, working out for at least 30 mins a day, working almost full time, and being a full time student, I hardly ever have a chance to cook :( So its almost always microwave dinners or fast food. but I still have lost 30 pounds while doing it. Have to workout a lot more but its worth it. but I do try…
