We have a local restaurant that I like to frequent too so if we go to it I like to make it for breakfast because i find breakfast foods are easier to guess at.

I don't have any type of degree or anything but I still have a lot of good qualities like I am a good friend and try my hardest to be a good mother and wife. I never really liked too many things about my body (except my hair) until I joined MFP! Now I have more confidence and can finally say there are more things I like…

I started September 21st 2010 with 127 pounds to lose. I have lost half of it now trying to get the last half off. I know I will run into a few more problems on the second half of this journey but I am trying not to think of those issues as I will deal with them when they get here. It's one day and one meal at a time. Good…

I've never actually admitted this to anyone but I used to make a box of chicken flavored Rice-a- Roni and eat the whole thing by myself for a meal :noway: . Not anymore

The only thing I do is watch my sodium and drink lots of water. I also try not to eat a snack after 9:30pm as I tend to do sometimes. I'm trying to kick that habit anyway but I am having a hard time :frown:

Thanks for the ideas everyone. Keep them coming

If you have a HRM with a chest strap I would trust that versus the machine. Yesterday my treadmill said I burned 304 and my HRM with the chest strap said 402 and I go with the HRM because it def. felt like I burned that much.

My friend makes this and it is VERY tasty!!

You look great and I can see how your confidence level has gone up:-) Great job!!

Ditto...I'm glad I did though! Great way to put a smile on my face this morning!!

I see loss in your sides and your legs too. We are our own worst critic. I didn't really see a difference until I lost a solid 20 pounds. Good luck with your journey!

First of all, welcome to the site. You have come to the right place for great motivation and support. I have struggled with my weight my entire adult life because I have never had the right kind of support. When I lose weight I will lose up to 3 pounds one week then 1 pound if I am luck on other weeks. For me it has a lot…

I'm liking these ideas...please keep them coming

I bought a New Balance with a chest strap on the internet for under $40 and believe it to be pretty accurate.

Everyone seems to really love steel cut oats so I made some this morning. I tried it and liked the texture and everything but a serving is only 1/4c. and I didn't think it would fill me up so i dumped it and made my rolled oats (serving is 1/2c. Both of the oats are 150 cals for a serving so I will probably eat the steel…

I don't have any totally amazing crock pot recipes yet but I like to barbecue some chicken. I'm going to bump this so I can get more ideas for myself.

I had chicken stir fry last night and I made brown rice with mine.

Three are family, three are friends and the rest are my MFP friends that I chose or chose me and I love every single one of them!! A few I think I would really get along with in "real" life.
