This. Prudent plant-based diet. Look at my diary. I eat (and drink fruit-veggie blends) all day long. You're starving yourself. I was in exactly your same boat 5 months ago. Having switched to mostly fruits and vegetables, pounds are *still* falling off, I feel great, and am eating more than ever.

The reason for counting pickles is the sodium. Try to balance that out by making sure you're getting plenty of potassium

If you're gonna binge, do so on things like frozen grapes, frozen blueberries, sugar snap peas, cherry tomatoes. Eat as many whole raw foods as you can. Salad with every dinner. You'll end up being less hungry because you'll eat more and there not have any reason to binge. Good luck.

You should also be mindful of your potassium intake, which almost EVERYONE needs to increase! Concentrate on plant-based whole foods (coincidentally, nonprocessed) and you'll take care of both.
