Saucony is the only running shoe I wear. In my 6+ running years I've never had a problem. I also just purchased the Progrid Guide 5 and so far so good. I'm an over pronator, so Saucony provides the stability that I need. I usually purchase the Saucony Omini's but they didn't have them when I went to purchase new sneakers…

That is great! Congrats! I am running my half on Sept 23rd.

I've consistently lost weight while training, although it has slowed a I've bumped up my half training. I blame it on the extra carbs I eat to fuel the long runs. But I am not worried about it as I've lost inches during the process. After my half in 3 weeks, I'll get back to a regular running routine and adjust my calorie…

I think you'll do great. Like DiannaMoorer said, people tend to do better in races than in practice. And look at your running history. It speaks for itself. You can do it. So I also think you can break 2:14. Good luck!!
