yes its a 9 week program.......week 8 involves jogging for 28 minutes straight for all three days, and the final week 9 is jogging for 30 straight minutes. (Im resuming mine today at week 8 day 2....I had to put the program on hold for a few days after getting the flu :-/ ) ....good luck to you !

I would definitely check into new shoes. I bought decent running shoes prior to week 5, (Im on week 6 day 2 now) and the difference is HUGE. Keep going ! :-)

I think you should definitely do it. Im on W4D3, and theres a 5k coming up here on Nov 7th...and I plan on being there and running in that one !

I do both...switching back and forth between the two (walk for three minutes, then run for three...alternating the entire time)

anyway back to the original subject....I have an SW40VE and I love it. Great for home protection, but a bit too big for carrying. My gf has a Ruger LCP which in my opinion is small and perfect for carrying....
