About a month before I could JOG (not run) a mile without stopping. It was a battle. Not because of weight (I only had about 30lbs to lose) but because my body just isn't built for running. I am awkward and inefficient. Plus I don't enjoy it. So, if I can do it you can too! :flowerforyou:

Since most (some) people are being jerks or just unhelpful I'll try to answer you.... congratulations on your loss so far! I don't believe they can discriminate based on size. When i used to eat there, the girls definitely varied in weight. Maybe scope out your local hooters to see the type they tend to employ. try to eat…

I recently started using a heart rate monitor (Polar FT7). I find MFP to be fairly accurate but is really depends on the workout. Take jogging for example- if I jog on flat ground MFP and Polar spit out similar stat's. But if I jog and much of it is on an incline, MFP doesn't know to account for that so the estimate is WAY…

I want to start toning by using the nautilus machines at my apt complex, so I have been reading through ur posts to try to understand what a good starting point is. So now I think I understand that to begin toning, I can start with the lower rep range of 1-5. Assuming I understood that correctly, how many sets should I be…

"[/quote] I understand it, and see right through it. lol at people with tattoos thinking they are these deep, misunderstood free spirits. Back in the day, a person with a tattoo had a story to tell. They were ex cons, in the military, bikers, etc. they had seen the gritty side of life and had the scars to prove it. Tattoos…

Reality check- most people won't give a hoot about you. Or maybe they are looking at you because you're doing a great job. Or maybe they are being jerks but that will be a very small minority (like, teeny tiny small). Also, if you want to avoid folks try working out at odd hours (if you can). I like going anytime after…

I also have bad skin and my dermatologist says genes pay a large role. So it's not all diet...maybe you can go to a dermatologist and see if they have any options?

Binge eating is an eating disorder. I linked the diagnostic criteria below. http://www.allianceforeatingdisorders.com/dsm-bed ETA- since i don't have my DSM handy, seems like I made a mistake in listing all the EDs that are listed in the DSM-IV. edited to take out the incorrect info.

I eat Subway fairly regularly. Played around with the nutrition calculator and the best I found, without sacrificing taste, is the 6inch Wheat, turkey, veggies, oil and vinegar. Nothing else- no cheese, sauce, soda, chips, etc.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm not sure if my metabolism slowed our it's the dam birth control but i NEVER had to watch my weight till my late 20s. I'm still in denial about it- lost the weight, went back to my usual ways and it back!!!! Ugh. It's for the birds man....and don't get me started on the societal pressures…
