                That's wonderful!

                Mint chocolate chip ice cream!

I'm typically like this too. Though there are days where I DO eat all day...

                I definitely would!

Hi! I'm in Franksville, WI. On a side note, I have a high school friend who lives in Conroe! Small world! :)

                I love it!

I actually find that I'm more filled up when I do the flatbread instead of the regular breads. But I also tend to get more meatier selections, such as the chicken breast or egg whites or (on rare occasions) meatball. I load up on spinach, green pepper, onions, and sometimes cucumbers. I'll even ask for an extra helping of…

I actually cooked some up on my Foreman grill this AM. I'm going to cut it up and throw it on a big plate of lettuce and veggies for dinner.

                Tuesday - 1633 Wednesday - 2432 My goal is typically 1600 a day....

I try to do that, but some days are a bit tougher than others. :ohwell:

I completely agree with this. My father and my grandmother both immigrated from Germany, so yes, they were considered Germans (and technically, my grandmother was 100% Hungarian, while my father was 50/50 German and Hungarian) who lived in America. If my family were to hyphenate ourselves, I'd be a…

Oftentimes for me it's convenience. Time, cost, and ease. I do tend to gravitate more towards the healthier options at most places, but a fast food burger will sometimes be all that's needed.

Average is about 1 pound every 10-14 days since the beginning of the year, though I went through a couple health setbacks. I'm just happy to be going in the right direction. In my opinion, a loss is still a loss, no matter how slow it seems. I'm involved in 3 challenges right now, so I'm hoping my average does go…

My days seem to fluctuate, based on my exercise/activity level that day, but my base number is 1350 calories without exercise. I typically sit at 1300-1700 calories consumed, with a net average of 1300-1400 calories. My weekends have been a tad higher recently, but my net still usually sits at 1300-1600 calories on those…

For me I have to look no further than my own brother. He was always that way - from the time we were kids. Grrrr.....

Truthfully, I haven't even thought to do that. I take fish oil supplement and Vitamin D supplement. I'll have to look at the calorie count on them...

My day is technically not over yet, but for what I have planned for the rest of the day I'll be over maybe 20 calories.

                I do this too!

^^This^^ Am I going to lie and say I don't eat fast food - no. But when I do, I plan that into my day - for the most part.

I tell, only because it's holding me more accountable. If I'm putting out there in public, then I'll have more asking me about my activities, my dietary choices, what exercises I've tried. I've tried MFP twice before this foray, and failed both times because I kept it secretive. Now I'm successful, and am past that point…

This is a great tip! I usually spend about 3 hours prepping veggies and fruits for the upcoming week after I've gone grocery shopping, and playing music makes the time fly!

I'm 5'2.5", and officially started at 220 pounds at the beginning of this year. I didn't see any weight loss until about mid-April, but had lost about 8' off of my waist, hips, and chest by then. Like others have posted, slow and steady is the key. Notice your body changing, your clothes fitting better, your habits…

Specifically during the week, this is me. On the weekends I may not always have lunch, so I'll eat bigger for breakfast then.

^^This^^ and a new bike!

Days 1-4 - total of 8.5 miles. I'll update my ticker tonight.

I'm curious too. I've been using the MFP method, and as long as I'm honest with myself in my logging, it's been fairly accurate.

You look amazing! Congratulations on all of your successes!

I would tend to agree! The worst encounter I had at a gym was someone who scoffed at my grandmother and I for being in the steam room together. That was at Vic Tanny's about 20 years ago. Other than that - I've only found people at the gym focused on what they are there for, with the occasional chit-chat.
