Very inspiring! I know that I myself have had setbacks, but no excuses. All are conscious choices I have made - good and bad. I can't blame something or someone - except my own self. Congrats on the weight loss, and congrats on the upcoming event! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:…

I agree! I barely know what a one week vacation is lately! OP - when I've taken a week vacation, I've gained up to 5 pounds, but as many have stated, it comes back off fairly easily.

Even on days I overeat my calorie allotment, I try to honestly log what I ate for two reasons. Number 1 - trigger foods. Number 2 - I'm not ashamed to admit my foods that were eaten. I'm human, and am not perfect all of the time. Sometimes I have a celebration and want to enjoy it. Sometimes I just feel like eating…

1400-1600 non-exercise days, 1500-1900 on exercise days.

^^^This^^^ I have added more fresh items into my meals/snacks, but yes, I eat processed foods nearly every day.

I agree with you OP - when you have a trigger food it makes it that much worse. I'd honestly never thought of plums as a substitute, but what a great idea! They're sweet, they're filling, and compared with chocolate, healthy for you too! Thanks for the insight! And congrats on the 1.5 pound loss too! :flowerforyou:…

I just recently turned 40, and I'm not as concerned (at this point at least) skin looks to go buy all those lotions/potions/creams. I have gotten some stretch mark cream that I'll start applying now that I've lost some inches, but it's not for the vanity aspect - it's how I feel about it myself (none are in areas I'd show…

Bump - to look at all later.

Just the ones I cannot eat (due to allergies/sensitivities) - corn, citrus fruits, tomato juice, hot peppers, and the ones I don't like - tomatoes (though ketchup and tomato sauce are okay), mushrooms, olives, avocado. Other than that - everything is fair game. I have cut back on certain foods, but I don't have any that…

This. If it's something you have occasionally, I'd use the recipe builder. If it's more of a one time thing, ingredient by ingredient.

At home, recovering from surgery. I didn't even have the TV on, when my husband called from work to say "turn on the TV". My grandmother called shortly afterwards, and we were on the phone crying and talking about it for like 5 hours.

^^^This, for the most part^^^ I don't plan to take time off, though if it happens, it happens. I have my phone with me a good chunk of the time, and log on to my computer occasionally throughout the day. I like the scanning ability on my phone as well, and the memory function of it. It really isn't that difficult, and…

That's wonderful! Keep at it!

Or if you are the legal parent/guardian of said child.

Whole grains. Fiber rich foods (apples, pears, broccoli, spinach). Brown rice.

I myself have never called 911, but had it called for me twice. The first time I was 5 years old and had a seizure in the middle of our living room floor. The second time (I was 22) I was babysitting my niece and nephew and felt very faint, so my nephew (at the time 4 years old) ran upstairs to tell the neighbor, who…

Absolutely! And I agree - looking at old photos of myself from within the past 5-8 years REALLY makes me see how much of a difference there is! Because truthfully, when I started this journey in January, I was at 220 pounds, but looking at some pictures of myself, I may have been closer to 230 or more at my highest weight.

Looking at a picture that my husband posted of us from three years ago, I realize that I have lost a "chin"! Made me feel great to know I'm headed in the right direction! :smokin:

I'm restarting some of my journey this week (after no gym time last week due to pulled thigh muscles). So I'm going to do my best to get this challenge done! I'll post what I managed to complete next Monday then.

While I've never been actually tested, I'm near certain that I am allergic to both corn and citrus fruits (pasteurized orange juice is okay though). And I'm sensitive to tomato sauce - I can eat it, just not in the quantity or at the frequency that I used to.

I've never actually been tested, though through trail and error I've discovered that I am allergic to (or at the very least, highly sensitive to) corn, citrus fruits (though pasteurized orange juice seems to be okay), and tomato sauce (large quantities of that anyway). I cannot eat corn at all - even one kernel causes me…

The thing I myself USED to say - I can't go to the gym, I'll be in pain. As I was sitting in pain already.... And the one I hear from a co-worker - I know I need to work out but I don't have the time or money...as she goes to the store and buys more shoes....

Yes, per the charts my goal weight (150 pounds - I'm 5'2.5") is still considered overweight. However, considering the fact that I went through forced menopause at 28, and am on HRT daily - both of which are known for weight gain - and considering my structure, I'm shooting for that first. When there, I'll determine if I'm…

The elliptical is my new fave too! Congrats on the loss of 70 pounds! I can't wait to get to that point, though I'd guess that to be in a year or so. Add me as a friend if you'd like!
