I didnot do so well either, only 1 day last week of swimming laps. It was a tough challenge. I do like the new healthy recipe idea with the posting. I am always looking for new ideas for dinner especially but breakfast foods are good too. Heres to a great new week:drinker:

Well we took the kids to the pool today and I did a bunch of laps (lengthwise) across the pool, I have not done that forever. so I guess that counts for my exercise but I only did it one day. I can totally relate, if I eat a huge slice of watermelon or a lot of grapes it sends my sugar intake sky high, but I am assuming that the natural sugar found in foods is better than processed kind. Not really sure though

Join the crowd, I fell hard on sunday it started off with a breakfast sandwich from dunkin donuts and went down hill from there. Truthfully snacking before bedtime has never been a problem. I eat dinner around 6 or 7, get the kids ready for bed and then do my p90x exercise of the day so by then its after 9 sometimes closer to 10 and then I am so tired food is the last thing on my mind. The hardest part of the day is around 3 or 4 in the afternoon…

I am not much of a walker but sure I give this challenge a try. I did go on a bike ride today can that count for something?? I wish I could say the same. Today was the last day of summer school and chick fil a donated lunches to all the teachers and staff and you can be certain it was not a salad. I gave in and ate a fried chicken sandwich and bag of chips. I did say no to the brownie but of course that was easy I do not like chocolate.:sad:

Count me in I love challenges.. water for me is easy that's all I drink so 8 glasses a day it is. For those of you who like the Crystal light- its made with aspertame which has been known to cause cancer in lab test. I switched to 4-c flavors on the go because they are made with splenda.

Growing up it was a lot of carbs and not the whole grain high fiber kind either. Bagels, muffins, bread, pasta, potatoes with gravy etc etc...

I eat a clean breakfast everyday. An egg white omelet (I do add in one whole egg) with cheese and some type of veggie. today I did spinach other days i do green peppers and onions.

I also do protein shakes after I work out, I just use the generic whey protein due to price. I add in a cup of organic soy (lactose intolerent) and frozen fruit to make it thick yummmm:drinker:

I am so glad its not just me. sizes are weird. when I was at my heaviest a few years back at about 172 i wore a 14 then at 150lbs I wore a 12. now at about 132 lbs i have sizes 4-8 in my closet. weird!

I love sweet potatoes, I think they are a little healthier than the white types. I bake them and cut them open and sprinkly cinnamon on them yummmmmm!!!!!:smile:

I have a slow cooker recipe similar to the salsa one Chicken pieces salsa can of black beans (drained and rinsed to get all the sodium off) can of mexicorn (drained) thats it slow cook on low for 7 hours or so Yummmmy!!:wink:

I make a full pot of coffee every morning so I use about 5 scoops of grounds, I just mix in the cinnamon I dont measure it, it adds a nice taste not too over powering and sweet like some of the flavored coffees and cinammon is supposed to be really really good for ya.:drinker:
