This photo was last May at the White House. This was last summer. I was so excited to sew a dress for myself but was upset at the amount of fabric it took. My first New Years Eve out in many years.

Rachel I am headed back to grad school. I took a break after baby #2. Now I'm working on losing that weight too. I am a little concerned about balancing life while going back to school. I know that being healthy will make life so much easier. Feel free to add me I'm building support as well.

I have also noticed how good I feel after doing Turbo Jam. I went to my kickboxing class at the gym today. I already did Turbo Jam 3x this week. This week I lost 2lbs and 0.5 inches.

I just started today and was contemplating how many times per week I would do this DVD. I finally decided on 3x per week. So I'm in. I plan to mix this up with Tu/Th gym and Sat. morning kickboxing.

I got up the nerve to do kickboxing this week. This was big because my best friend was supposed to go with me and could not at the last minute. I went anyway and loved it.

I am not a vegetarian but I gave meat for a period of time. I found some great products by Morning Star and Boca. My husband and son who are a big meat eaters grew fond of them. My son even enjoyed getting some of his veggies that way.

I wonder what you are cooking. When I cook certain foods I just can't get enough. When I cook baked chicken and cabbage or broccoli, I tend not to over indulge. Also you may have to put the food out of site so that you are less likely to go for it. I've also started eating on smaller plates.

When you notice you have muscles you didn't know ever had on your body. ( I found was in the mirror and found my triceps today. Had to call my husband in to look. He was surprised too.) When people tell you your butt looks smaller. When you workout when your sick.

We did the BBQ yesterday. I logged in what I thought I was going to eat. Boy did I eat more. I didn't go over because I worked out yesterday. I did end up with an upset stomach though. Lesson learned.
