171.2 My weight has been ridiculous the past few weeks!! :-(

Thank you to those who ANSWERED the QUESTION! :)

I agree! I am 5'2... and although I know I am overweight, I do not think I am as overweight as my BMI makes me out to be. I've been in the obese range for awhile now. I lost all the weight years ago and it was hard for me to get into the "healthy weight". By time I got to 130 I was already close to being bones.

I just read for profile info... I am happy you were able to beat it! I also wanted to wish you a Happy Early Birthday!! (I saw your b-day is tomorrow!) I hope you enjoy!!

Thank you for all the ideas!

Where did you download them from and how much did it cost? I'd be interested in downloading them myself.

Yesterday was Day#1... It certainly is challenging for a beginner! There were a few times I had to stop and just catch my breathe. The mountain climbers and walking planks about killed... but I made it through! I can def. feel it this morning!

You can put the walking as exercise into the exercise log under how many mph it was. However, the rest of the steps I would not log. When you signed up for MFP, you needed to give your activity level a day which includes your daily steps just from working, walking around your house etc. There is also a spot on the exercise…

Sounds good to me! The scale has had me close to crying the past few days.

It is a DVD... I bought it at Best Buy for about $10

I am going to start tomorrow... I am going to do Monday, Thursday and Saturday. I am pretty excited about this...

Yes! I printed out the schedule for it earlier today but I didn't want to do it alone... I asked my fiance and that was a big NO! I can hardly get him to walk with me, let alone do C25K.

I understand what is being asked... during any given day you are burning X amount of calories, your bmr. So during any given time you are burning a certain amount of calories by just living. The question is if the calories being burned by an exercise take those calories being burned by just living into consideration.

Yes you can lose weight eating less than 1200 calories. However, ask anyone who has eaten so long of calories how long the weight loss lasted... I'm not talking 4 months, 8 months or even a year. Anyone kept it off for 10 years? Most likely not! I ate 1000 calories a day and my body finally crashed and I gained all 50…

Agreed!! That usually works for me... take a walk, do another form of exercise....Anything! You'll take your mind off of it, and you'll earn a few calories that you could have a small healthier treat if you still want one.
-
That sounds awesome! I have to try this soon.
-
Thank you to those who answered my question!! I prefer to keep the calories for the meals the same... Going backwards just doesn't work for me! I just needed some good meal ideas for the calorie range. So again thank you to those who directed me towards site with that info!

Thank you everyone!! I feel better about it... My day started off on the wrong foot... I had one of those grab breakfast on the go type mornings and I grabbed a danish!! Bad idea!! Tomorrow will be much better and I'll be back on track.

I eat mine back.... I lost 50 pounds 5 years ago and I didn't eat them back at that point. All the weight is back! There is only so long a person can stay on such a low calorie diet unless you want to eat salads every meal the rest of your life. I learned from experience.

My name is Dana. I just set a challenge for myself to do 150 miles this month using the DVDs! So far I did the 4 mile walk this morning. So 4 down, 146 to go!
-
I walked 4 miles this morning with a Leslie Sansone video.

I HATED when I saw the contestants on Biggest Loser do it. Is it a weight loss competition on here? If so, I want to drop out ASAP!!

Thank you!

This is not a breakfast to try to lose weight faster for me... It is to make sure I have breakfast and it is something I can mix up at work if I need to. I know about healthy eating... If you look at my diary you will see I eat LOTS of REAL food through the day
-
Thank you for the ideas! My normal breakfast is usually only about 200 calories to begin with so I'm not too worried about gaining weight back after stopping a shake or smoothie. I'm usually not that hungry in the morning, but I like to make sure I have something so I can get my metabolism going and I won't over eat later.…

I used to buy some amazing smoothies with oats in them before I moved (from a smoothie place) and they were amazing. I do miss them! Thank you for the idea.
