"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind." - Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

Thanks for the response! Yep, I am definitely drinking enough...that's one thing I've never had an issue with, even before I was watching what I ate (I lived on a small island in the Pacific for two years, so I got used to carrying a water bottle around with me wherever I go). My biggest dairy intake is cheese, so I substitute almond or soy milk when I cook or eat cereal. Beans. Yes. Beans are awesome, I totally agree. I like the…

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I did set my MFP activity level to sedentary for the same reason you guys mentioned: I wanted to be able to determine my exercise/activity for myself, which is why I track it and enter my own using Map My Ride (I'm a former avid cyclist who is ramping up that activity again now that…

Thanks all! The consensus seems to be that BodyPump is a pretty good cardio workout, but doing some actual lifting (even on a caloric deficit diet) would also be beneficial.
