Set mini goals (i.e. Drink eight 8-oz. glasses of water, exercise 30-min a day, don't eat after 8 pm, etc.) Find what's best for you and stick with it until it becomes a habit.

I too am 5'9" and have set mini goals for myself. According to national standards, I should weigh 165 lbs. You know as well as I do, that when you're tall, you can weigh 200 lbs and look good. Nobody will ever guess you weigh as much as you do. But with the knowledge that I've gained, I'm not so worried about "looking…
