Yup, I even log the one square of chocolate I usually have after my dinner. All 47 calories of it. I don't tend to pick at things though so I don't really find it tedious to log everything. There are some things I'm pretty relaxed about when it comes to weighing though. If I'm a couple of grams over on chicken or potatoes…

I wouldn't. I'd just start eating properly again today. I had Burger King this weekend. And cakes. Today is a new day though and back to eating healthily.

Weiged myself this morning and I gained a pound. I'm now 217lbs. No surprise given the junk I ate this weekend really. Would this be my new start weight as the challenge starts today or would it just count as a gain? Either way, still the same goal of 199lbs for me.

Do we have to set mini goals? I don't really have any, I find it horribly discouraging if I set them and then don't meet them.
-
A bit of both to be honest. If I fancy a burger or some pizza then I have it as long as it's within my calories. Same with chocolate, cake etc. If it's not within my calories then most of the time I resist. I have one piece of good quality chocolate after my dinner every evening though, I find it stops the craving for…

:noway: You've lost a whole me! :noway: Congratulations!

When I do something like this I just start over. It's done, you can't change what happens but you can get back on the wagon. By all means do some extra exercise but don't kill yourself with it. I figure in life there are going to be occasions where I go way over on my calories for whatever reason. As long as they're rare…

And a lot of the companies here that label their bras as D cups are lying. I've been measured a few times, I'm a D, I can fit both cups of some of these supposed D cups into one cup of my actual D cup bras.

I'm guilty of buying too small clothes but not for those reasons. One of my all time favourite shops tends to have things in once and then you never see it again. They're also usually one size fits all. But one size doesn't fit all and although I know these clothes will fit me at 140lbs (I've been shopping there for about…

Lol, I'm not the only one losing the lbs in weird places then.

I notice it first in my fingers, stupid as that sounds. I've only lost 4lbs but my engagement ring is much, much looser than it was, hopefully I can get my wedding ring back on soon! Stupid 4lbs, coulda come off somewhere that REALLY needed it. Like my stomach or my *kitten* but no, it came off my fingers. :grumble: I seem…

There are two four o clocks in the day? :noway: 3 healthy meals a day and not too much of anything is WAY too vague for a lot of people. One person may not see 3 burgers with a mountain of chips as too much, another may see one burger and a handful of chips as way too much.

I'm 5'2 or 5'3, I seem to shrink and grow lol, so not THAT short but not exactly tall. I have my diary set for losing 2lbs a week which gives me 1200 calories but aim to net between 1200 and 1600 (what mfp gives me to lose 1lb a week). I honstly can't see how I'd be able to eat a healthy but satisfying diet on less than…

If you've only got 10lbs to lose then you shouldn't really be aiming for a 2lb a week loss. That's probably why it's set so low.

I don't count walking my dog as it's something I've always done and do several times a day. Nor do I break a sweat doing it, I just sort of amble along, stopping a lot for him to sniff and pee and do what dogs do. I do however count walking to the shops as it's a 30 minute brisk walk each way and coming back it's all up…

No problems on Microgynon or Cerazette here. I was on Microgynon when I lost 3 stone with weight watchers and am on Cerazette now and losing weight. Literally the only side effect I had on the first one was period pains, I never had them till I went on the pill. No side effects at all on Cerazette so far as I'm aware.

Going by your tracker you don't really have enough to lose to be able to lose 2lbs a week I'm afraid. The closer you are to your goal weight the less you can expect to lose per week.

Getting into clothes I loved before I piled on the pounds. Not feeling fat and horrible any more.
-
Given just how many calories and how much sugar is in some drinks hell yes I log it. I'm terrible at logging my water coz I know there are no cals but anything else gets put in.
-
Fingers crossed here for you. I'm 28 years old and have high blood pressure and am borderline for diabetes. I've got to make an appointment to be tested again as at the moment simply losing weight and changing my diet could prevent me from becoming diabetic. My birth control has already been changed due to me being so fat.…

Wow, and here's me so phobic of the dentist I have a panic attack before I even get there! Actually having work done requires me to be unconscious. If I have excess skin after losing weight then I'd look into getting that sorted but at the moment there's no part of me I'm unhappy enough with to risk surgery.

I love oatmeal with raisins, apple and a little cinnamon in. Unfortunately I've not managed to find any out here yet. I'm sure they do it, it's just that I've not found it on the shelves and I don't speak the language well enough yet to ask for it  Well, I've found Ready Brek but it's not really the same.

God, 4 hours a night would be heaven! Especially if that's 4 hours unbroken sleep. I can't remember the last time I had a good nights sleep, I wake pretty much every hour. This has been going on since I was a small child so I doubt it's going to change now.

I have the same problem if I have cereal for breakfast, I end up over my sugar way too easily. I quite like scrambled egg for breakfast. Quick and easy to make and easy to dress up by putting a little ham or cheese or whatever in and doesn't mean I'm over my sugar for the day immediately after breakfast.

You need to eat 1200 calories NET, not 1200 calories total. So if you do any exercise you eat the calories gained from that back as MFP calculates a calorie deficit in without you doing any exercise. I don't eat all of mine back, just half of them as the estimates aren't 100% accurate.
-
Nope. It's bad enough needing an operation through no fault of your own, there's no way on earth I'd purposely do something to get myself surgery.
-
Do you have room for another wannabe little one? If so I'd like to lose 17llbs so I'm out of the 200s by Christmas CW 216lbs Goal 199lbs.
-
Is this net calories or total? If you're exercising that much then you'll need more than just 1200 calories a day. I aim to net between 1200 and 1600 calories a day which means if I exercise I eat at least some of those calories back to stay above the 1200.
-
I have my diary set for 1200 calories. That's what MFP gives me for a 2lb a week weight loss. Anyone looking through my diary will probably think I'm doing terribly because I'm usually over, sometimes by just a few calories sometimes by quite a lot, but that's because I aim to net anywhere between 1200 and 1600 calories.…

I almost always eat shortly before bed otherwise I find myself waking up around 2am and am unable to go back to sleep because of how hungry I am. I usually eat around 10 or 11pm and go to bed at around midnight.
