Epilepsy, meds and weight loss
Okay, in the last 12 months I've gained over 70lbs. The gain started when my epilepsy medication was changed and I started gaining between 1lb and 4lb a week while sticking to my weight watchers points. According to the doctors the meds I'm on usually doesn't cause weight gain, in fact in most people it apparently causes…

Back and looking for buddies
Hi, I've been registered here for a while, previously lost around 40lbs and was doing really well. Then I got pregnant which kinda put weight loss on hold for a bit. And of course I gained some during pregnancy. Anyway, my baby boy is now 7 weeks old and I'm looking to get back on track with the weight loss. I have around…

Hi all, I've not been here for a while due to real life stuff. Good news is I've pretty much managed to maintain where I left off instead of putting the weight back on. Just looking for friends to keep me on track, cheer me on, kick me up the backside and all that. I'm 29 years old, currently unemployed and I HATE…

For the past 5 years I've been medicated for epilepsy and have piled on around 80lbs in that time with no amount of calorie counting or exercise making even a dent in it. Well, I'm off the medication now (and seizure free…

Why does it always happen? And how do I stop it?
I was really good at sticking to my calories for about a week and a half and according to the Biggest Loser game I lost 4lbs (not showing on tracker as my first weigh in on there had me at 5lbs heavier than my original scales did). Then I had a sleepless night caused by major back pain that came out of nowhere and kinda…

Another newbie
Hi, I'm Sarah, I'm 27 and have been really struggling with my weight since they changed my epilepsy meds just over a year ago. I've gained 70lbs in the last year and it's really started to affect my health. So right now I'm lowering the meds (slowly and with the doctors knowledge and advice) and hoping we can find a dose…
