I like unsweetened almond milk. For a treat I highly recommend Larry and Luna's Coconut Bliss ice cream - let it soften for a few minutes and it tastes just like ice cream. The only alternative cheese I've liked is Daiya shredded mozzarella.

For me, I learned to manage it by cutting out dairy, drinking more water, generally eating healthier and more exercise. Also, smaller portions. It still acts up occasionally if I eat too much at once or if I eat a lot of greasy food (like a burger and fries).

When I'm broke I eat a lot of rice, beans, lentils and veggies. Throw some spices or hot sauce on it and it's actually pretty good.

I find I'm actually more aware of my "problem areas" now that I'm down over 30lbs. I was kind of blissfully unaware before it kind of hit me that I got fat and decided to do something about it.

Right now I'm doing them using my bathroom counter. Once I can do ten pretty easily I will try my coffee table, then on my knees on the floor, then real ones!

They don't really have a taste which is why they are good for mixing into things. You get the health benefits and they help fill you up but they don't alter flavours.
