  • I get up at 4:30 Mon, Wed, and Fri and go to an indoor pool and swim for an hour. Then back home to feed five horses, 4 dogs, and then get ready for work at 8:00. Love it, but it makes me hungry :) I also walk or walk/run every afternoon.

  • I have a hard time eating enough protein and as you said, it keeps you from feeling hungry. I wouldn't worry about it as long as your diet includes the other nutrients and you are staying within your calorie range. Just be sure and drink plenty of water daily. That's just my opinion.   • Remember, if we didn't have bad days, we would not be able to appreciate the good ones. Hang in there! It will get better. I know you can acheive your goals! Just stay focused! Take a daily multi vitamin if you are not doing so already. That may help you stay well.
  • I haven't run any races lately, but I used to do it a lot and Paul100 is correct. Slow down and just make the miles. I promise if you can do 2 miles nonstop, you can do 3 if you pace yourself. Good luck!! I know you can do it.
