I have found that adding cinnamon to things like unsweetened greek yogurt really helps curb any sweet cravings, it sort of tricks you into thinking you are eating a sweet thing and now I can't handle eating anything too sugary, you could also try chromium.

Do you eat enough before you exercise? I found if I don't eat something carby a couple of hours before my workout I was getting dizzy and uncoordinated also how much water are you drinking, if you are dehydrated then that will also make you lightheaded if you are working out.

Did the goiter go down with meds? I am going for an ultra sound next week, I was sent to the endocrinologist previously but she said that my Thyroid was irrelevant even though thats why I was referred as I also have type 2 diabetes and this was her main concern, to me that is not the main concern as that can be reversed…

Ignoring the "You are a Type whatever" It makes sense that different foods interact with different people and some people have a happy place with more plant based diet and some feel better on a meat based diet. It is a starting point I guess of trying to figure out what foods may cause inflammation in the body, if you have…

I was going to say this!!

I put it through my hair like a hot oil treatment, melt it a little then spread it through your hair until its coated, leave for 15 - 20 mins, I sometimes use a hair dryer as well - Shampoo scalp and then condition as per usual. Makes my frizzy curls manageable. Also mix into a paste with salt or sugar and rub it all over…

I wouldn't count them in your water intake as they are diuretics and alter your hydration, your body needs .30ml per kg of bodyweight as a starting point for intercellular hydration (good hydration) and to help with getting rid of any extracellular hydration (toxic water retention) more if you exercise and drink caffeine…

What have you cut out? Quite a few foods are addictive so it could be withdrawal, sugar and caffeine especially, I also personally find starchy carbs like bread and pasta to be somewhat addictive, more you have the more you want etc I agree with other people in that it could be added fibre and lower calories would mean…

Haha oh good I was just checking to see how other people viewed it - always wrong and so so wishful, I can but try to live up to it :-)

Bought myself a new sports bra and could actually fit the standard size without extenders :-) This means I have lost 2 band sizes since last time I bought a bra :-)

Interesting - I will have to start sprouting I think :-)

Thank you everyone, I hope I am not coming across as difficult - I hadn't really thought of a few of your suggestions so I will experiment with beans/lentils etc and try and find some different meat options and see how I go. Thank you again I really appreciate everyones input :-)

I have been to a dietician and several naturopaths, they have all tried to tell me to eat things that I have told them I can't eat, egg whites and fish are the worst culprits, the threshold/overdose reaction seems to be what throws everyone and it makes it very hard to judge, sometimes I am ok eating something for weeks…
-
Lamb, Beef and Pork are ok occasionally, but they react faster if I have too much, have never tried rabbit meat,
-
Duck and Turkey are ok, not common to find here though and especially duck is filled with marinades, never seen squab/pigeon. I haven't gone into beans yet because of how I am with Soy, I will look into it!
-
Allergic to egg white not egg yolk funnily enough I am ok when they are separated and I just eat the yolk.
-
Alive but not solving any health issues, most of the sensitivities are caused by chronic inflammation brought on by not coping with proteins but eating them anyway if that makes sense. They aren't allergic reactions in the first instance but if I eat anything for an extended length of time ie several serves a week they…

I am no way the norm so this is just my experience but did you notice mood changes before or after she began to be medicated, I found that metformin made me severely depressed to the point of suicidal and not myself at all, it also interacts with me in crazy ways, I needed to eat a high sugar meal with it or it would make…

All Diabetes diets seem to say no starch but I also gain weight even looking at bread etc, not to mention the stomach ache I get. Food in general doesn't like me haha I am looking into the pulses etc, I have not thought about them for the most part, not sure what to do with them, not that I have really tried yet, alot of…

Do you normally eat the whole egg? I am allergic to egg white but I am ok with egg yolks by themselves or eggs that have been mixed together in a scramble or omelet, baking etc As far as I know mixing them changes the protein shape on a cellular level so it becomes a different chemical make up. I also find that if I eat…

I hadn't thought of low blood sugar, being diabetic I don't generally have low ever. Under nourished could be a factor. Thanks everyone :-)

Im 4'11 roughly 153cm and I am going to go until I like the way I look, I am supposed to be about 100 pounds, at my smallest I was 190 which was still about 2 dress sizes too big, 110 seems too small, I wanna keep my curves thank you :-) I would be happy just to lose my gut and tone up a bit. My main goal is not weightloss…
