Thank you everyone. My eventual goal is to run a marathon as I've always wanted to do so and am now a small way to achieving that goal. The consensus seems to be to increase the distance - which suits me as most of all I enjoy exploring the area.

I wondered if that may be a problem. It's a basic muesli/granola type cereal - wholegrain wheat, rolled oats, almonds, hazelnuts and raisins are the main ingredients.

I have been eating some of the reclaimed calories and losing weight. BUT I use a GPS tracker to track my runs so that I know a reasonably accurate calorie burn and don't rely on MFP's cardio calculations.
