HI! Jess here, 32, first time mom. Prior to being pregnant I had lost a fair amount of weight (60+) but it started creeping up while trying to get pregnant. I was okay with the amount I gained while pregnant, but then post delivering I ended up gaining a lot of weight (way more than I did while pregnant). I had back/hip…

Hey! I'm looking to lose 100+, feel free to add me!

Do you do most of your running on a treadmill? I used to run and am getting back into it. I hate the treadmill and used to run outside, but for a variety of reasons I likely won’t be running outside this winter, so I’m looking to become bffs with the treadmill.

Thank you, @emsmiley12!

Similar boat here. I've gained a lot of the weight I had lost pre baby, and even now after giving birth I've gained a few lbs!! I'm really struggling to lose weight and feel so discouraged. I wouldn't mind the weight side so much if I was at least feeling good... but I find I have such limited energy, my attempts to…

In a similar boat here! 31, new mom, looking to lose 50lbs and would love some accountability buds. My diary is open to friends.

I feel like I am far off from being able to do even one pull up, but it is definitely one of my fitness goals. Thanks so much for sharing this challenge. I'm going to give it a try. Even to have a structured plan set out to do the negatives, is a great starting point.

I've been vegetarian for over 10 years, and now want to focus more on WFBP. I don't plan to eliminate all dairy or cheese 100%, but have significantly reduced my consumption and want to reduce it further. My goal is to increase the WFPB portion of my diet significantly, with only minimal oil or cheese etc consumption. I'm…

Awesome! Adding you 😀

I'm vegetarian... trying to eat more and more plant based. I'd love more plant based pals, especially ones with open diaries. Feel free to add.

Love your username :) Adding you. I'm vegetarian, enjoy running and lifting weights. I try to live a balanced life. I enjoy exercising, trying new recipes, but also having some treats at times. I've lost about 40lbs so far and would like to lose another 40.

Vegetarian with an open diary here. People are welcome to add.

She said she had about 700 calories left. She also did eat during the day, just lightly. I don't think that's the point of this post though. *** I love restaurants that post the calories. I wish they also posted the macros, but maybe in the future. WTG on picking healthier options, especially when eating out - it can be…

I would definitely go for a full rack. If you don't get one that meets your needs and is versatile, you won't keep using it. You don't want to get a half rack and then have to replace it once you get into things. I have a cage in my basement and love it. I don't live close to a gym, and find that working in the gym takes…

Such awesome responses, thank you so much!! Great tips and thank you for those resources, I can't wait to compare the various training plans recommended above.

Vegetarian here with open diary, feel free to add

Clean, organize, meal prep, workout, just try to have a productive day.

Most vitamins are not necessary, but being a vegetarian I figure it doesn't hurt. I take B12, multivit, vitamin D, and occasionally iron around when I donate blood. Being a vegetarian the B12 is important for me, and living in Canada in Winter, the vitamin D is also very important. I probably don't *need* the multivit.

One of the gyms I go to has wi-fi but I rarely use it, except for maybe listening to music that I don't have downloaded to my phone. I usually log my stuff when I am done working out, I probably wouldn't pay extra to have it - but to each there own. If finding a gym with wifi will keep you going or keep you staying and…

Meal prep!

I had previously lost just under 70lbs, then gained it all back and a bit more. Now down 45+lbs and feeling great. Add requests from supportive motivated people are welcome!! :)

I've been here awhile, on daily, and try to stay very active on here. I agree motivated active friends makes a big difference. People can feel free to add, I'm sending invites to those above :)

Adding you! Others can feel free to add me as well

I don't do intermittent fasting but people seeking accountabilibuddies can add me :)

I don't bother tracking my coffee calories - I drink it black too and it does have calories but very few. Calorie tracking and labelling is all approximations so don't worry about small numbers. Do assume you are eating more calories than you track though, to be safe.

Yeah I'm disappointed that this thread didn't have helpful suggestions. I'm not going to be running when it gets super super cold but do do want to try to extend my outdoor running routine as long as possible.
-
I love getting new work out gear too. When I'm wearing something that feels and looks good, I am just so much more motivated to go kick some *kitten* and kill my workout.

Definitely start now, you can lose weight and tone, and strength training is an important part of a fitness and weight loss regimen. Great work so far in achieving your goal :)

You shouldn't trust any calorie prediction completely, whether it is from mfp, another app or website, or heart rate monitors. They are all estimations, as are the calorie/nutrition counts in food. I find HRM are more accurate but when in doubt I'd suggest going for whichever is the lower of the 2 to avoid over estimating…

Thanks for sharing your story. Sounds like you're only the right track! There will always be obstacles that pop up and set backs, but you can over come them - keep up the good work!
